Limb, gingernuts...Who was the creeks B-grade player that would have been suspended for weeks if 'that elbow' had connected last weekend?

I believe he injured himself later in the game. I could be wrong but!

Want to know who will win the 2009 AFL premiership? Click the link and let Alex Williamson show you, in a rather unorthodox manner:

Ceeks got up in the A's by about 3 goals (9 to 6). Very close for the 1st three quarters but Langhornes kicked away in the last.

Yep it rained A LOT during the B grade game and quite heavy.
Not the best weather for taking photos :(
I think I managed to take about 5 photos!

Sun was almost shining during the Senior Colts,
Then the siren went for the B Grade and down came the rain!

Here's an indication....

Was good to see the GSFL budget make an appearance for the finals, with the help of someone who has their finger on the pulse - an entertaining read.

'The experience and class of langhorne creek should be enough to see them salute in this contest, but don't be surprised to see a spirted dogs outfit push them to the limit'

Spot on the money!

Wasnt the best day for footy which was reflected by a very poor crowd (I would have thought it would have been less that a home and away match??), but it was better to go and watch some local footy that to spend a couple of hundo at the TAB. Budget was very good D&W, best we have had for some time, good to see you on here giving yourself a wrap. Yesterday was a pretty good indicator on where we are heading with most grades.

Junior - Not over just yet...Willunga are a massive danger, the big "kids / men" are very important and dominated yesterday.
Senior - Is the grade to watch if you want excitement. This grade is anyones flag. Best game of the day by a mile
B Grade - Yuk...conditions didnt help. The B's should swap time slots with the s/colts so that more people are on hand to appreciate how good some of these senior colts are. Would also see more people hang around for the main event.
A Grade - 2 sides that played yesterday (rain, hail or shine) can not beat Willunga. Willunga $1.01 at best.

Strath look like the real deal, Elliot up forward has really added a new dimension to your scoring options - An area they looked susceptible in before he was moved up there. Has kicked 24 goals in his 4 outings - Smart player.

Just quietly, how did Shaun Maxfield make the best for Compass (3rd best )
I can count the amount of touches he had on one hand.

travelled allllllll the way to l/creek to hopefully see a good game of footy between vh and strath, well it was game over at qtr time.strath were just too quick, slick and played with alot more direction than vh.vh need to target another couple of key position players in the off season thats for sure, they look to go to d.ellis all the time and just become to predictable.sum1 tell me how old is the bloke who played in the forward pocket for vh,he looks about 45 and carrying about 20 stone, surely vh would get more playing a young kid than playing an old man.on the up side for strath i thought they looked very good.

Very interesting results on the weekend. A tough game by the sounds of it Saturday with the Creeks and Compass neck and neck until the final quarter. Compass' last quarters have been very good this year so i wonder why they dropped off in the last against the Creeks.

Did Feast play? Sherwood marshalling the troops down back and Rothe returning from an extended lay off in good touch!

Strath defeating Victor by a huge margin at the Creek Sunday. Disappointing 2nd half of the season for Victor with such a strong start. Marc Elliot looks to be a massive danger up forward and will be vital to Straths chances this weekend and beyond in the finals.

2 massive games this week!

Grant Levy.
Thought he was one of the best for VH on a rather dismal day, held his spot weell & his used his experience well, kicked a couple of goals and did pretty well whenever the ball got down to him.

surely the vhfc would've got more out of a kid playing that final than playing him.

Not many of the VH kids stepped up in the finals atmosphere. Experience counts for a lot in those type of games, in my opinion they made the right decision playing him - His experience and awareness was obvious.

No Limb i didnt head down there. We played the Creeks last week, have played Compass twice this year aswell and the coaching staff headed down there and will relay any relevant information. Was good to get away from footy and freshen up, the beauty of having the week off i guess. We trained hard Saturday morning and that was enough.

I'll PM you for any inside info on this weeks opponent, surely you will be more than happy to help?
