The names i mentioned were a best ever type of list, so that encompasses blokes who played a hell of a lot of footy for their club, Tim Richards would have played at least 250 odd games, possibly 300, and played association footy. Blokes like Kym White and Mansell, Eric Martin were obviously good footballers, but probably only played a season or 2 at the Bears so wouldn't be in "best ever" contention, but may be in the best since 2000 category.

Since 2000, i would agree, Jervois leading 3 would probably come from Mahoney, Ewer, Rigney, Pyman, Scholz and Hill.

I agree, and it would be interesting to see what criteria they use. Blokes like John Richter should probably be in Imps' best ever list, but played virtually all his senior career at Sturt.

Then there's blokes like Des Hicks (Imps) and Jason McIntosh (Tailem) who play for a season and are outstanding, but don't have a lot of longetivity at their RMFL club.

Should be a very interesting night, with each club having many good players come and go over the years. Looking forward GWW to seeing the results from each club put up on the forum.

So who would you say the winners this week are going to be? Can TB keep there season alive?

Goldberg wrote:Will be a great game this week, Mannum are the only team that really has the talent to stretch Imps. Unforunately for Mannum that doesn't guarantee them a GF spot, because they are so inconsistant, but at full strength they really do have a v/good list

Waterhouse - Sayers
Hockey - Honner
Hentschke - Waite
Quinn - Girdam
Warnest - Harrowfield
Maloney- Kenny
Harte - Kenny
Sarno - Eyres
Boughen - Puckeridge
Wakefield - Edwards

These guys probably wont play on each other much, but if Mannum can get enough ball through the guts, Imps would have to pull Sayers out of their forward line to stand Clive & that would be a huge win for them.

I know this will sound like a funny statement with the Blues winning most games easily, but I still think their defence is a bit brittle & short for Mannums tall forwards.

All that said their midfield is better, & their last 6 are better aswell. Imps 4 me

The two times Imps have played Mannum Eyre has stood Waterhouse and beat him both times. They have plenty of options down back with Quast or Eyre to stand him won't need to send Seyers back down there. Imps have a lot of ins since they last played Mannum including Seyers, Honor, Edwards, Wingard just to name a few, should be an interesting game but think imps will just keep rolling on their way.

Imps will be too strong agreed, but Imps back six run hard & can be caught on turn overs (if u can make them). The 1 thing I would definately agree on though is Imps bottom 6 are a lot stronger then Mannums. Mannum @ full strength use 15 points & only have 12 allocated, thats 3 U/17 in their best side needed, & unless u have a Wingard (which they dont) its too much to cover. The only hope is if the young sturt lad O'Malley is U/17 but I dont think he is. Plus Sturt will be playing finals in U/18 so he will be unavailable for the bulk of it anyway

Havent seen Levis Krause or Zac Bullard play a poor game so far. Fair chance those two U17's will be in the Mannum line up.

Didn't see the game, but heard that Tailem got up over Jervois today. Not sure of finals margin, did hear that Tailem started very well but margin was cut to 5 goals by 3/4 time. Should be an interesting Elimination final between these 2 clubs next week.

Yes Mypo beat Ramblers by 2 goals. That twice this year Mypo has beaten Ramblers and they only won 4 games. Tailem Beat Jervois by 5 goals and Jervois beat Tailem in the reserves. Both of these games have a rematch this Sunday should be interesting. Imps beat Mannum by about 12 goals and Mannum were never really in it after half time.

Whats the mail on injuries leading into the finals series. I heard Jervois rested a few on Saturday, and Tailem had a few out and suffered one or 2 more injuries.

Are Ramblers likely to get anyone back? With their current form, they could easily go out in straight sets.

So it looks like another year in the RMFL where the G/F is going to be a big margin. Going on Saturdays results it looks like Imps by How Far.

Actually i don't think there's been a blow out since 05 when Jervois thrashed Tailem. Last year i think was only about 6 or so goals, and the GF's Jervois won against Imps were generally fairly close.

I would agree it all points to a one sided GF, only thing stopping that is probably wet weather.

Could well be a day dominated by the double blue and the green and gold. Imps finished top in A Grade, B Grade and Under 15's. Mannum finished second in A Grade, B Grade and Under 17's. So Imps and Mannum could well both have 3 teams in the GF.

Noticed the RMFL site updated with scores for each grade, also announcing winners of the 15's and 17's Medals.

You would think Mannum would defeat Ramblers this week . Ramblers could possibly go out in straight sets but i think looking at results they are probably ahead of the other two teams.

Jervois to defeat T/B in the other final

Mannum v Ramblers

Will be a Very Very close game I think. Cant write off the chooks, with the possible inclusion of Zadow, Girardi, & Jackson. Both Forward lines will dominate, & it will be a matter of who wins the midfield. Mannum just

Jervois v Tailem

Tailem by plenty, Quality to come back in from the side that won last week anyway. If the can stop the Jervois talls, they will win by 8-9
