That is the most pathetic thing i have seen written on this forum. Ladder position doesnt show the influence someone has had on a club in just 1 season. Hilly has promoted the kids at every chance and will to continue to do so whilst adding the odd player to help these young ones prosper. I didnt realise that once you left a club you werent allowed to talk to any of them. He has life long mates at m vale, hackham, noarlunga... is he not allowed to talk to them? As for coaching a ready made team, when he came to morphett vale they were down the bottom in all grades. He was part of a TEAM that got the club to the current position it is in.

Congrats to Ben Moore, great bloke and has really got fully involved in the club since coming up to play this season.

Hopefully it's just the first win of many for the Creek in the next few weeks!

Well done to the medal winners and big congrats to Benny Potts, Kayne Smith and Nev Miller who were all awarded with GSFL life membership, a great effort.

Great to see BIG Brad Haskett get so many votes last night, and although they are only umpire votes, it's a great reward for the year he has had, and the effort he has put into the Willunga footy club this year. A massive part of the Willunga side, and when up and running and playing well, it's nearly unfair on the opposition. He is a gun, and for mine the next Willunga captain....

Little mitchy Portlock again, right in the mix at the end of the count. Was mentioned last night, by someone with little or no credibility, that he's the best player in the last decade at Willunga. After giving it some thought, hard to disagree. Would have to be right there for player of the decade in the GSFL too I suppose.... Duff, Steele, Follett, Burdett, Shaun Hutch would all be in the conversation too.

Well done to all the ex-emus too. All really good players and guns off the field. hope most stick around and back up solid years again next year.

Spat after reading ur posts you have shown that you have obviously been dropped by him or something, after working cloesly with Steve this year I have learnt a lot from him and the players he was working with were a fantastic YOUNG bunch of guys.
If you look at the game we played against Langhorne we had 5 players that could still play under 17's, everyone can see the direction Mclaren are going except for you for some reason 7 wins is a good return for the year with the injuries to key players we had, and more importantly have between 30 and 50 players on the track every night is great for the club.

Speaking of Baxter's finger... whilst waiting for a beer at the mail medal night last night I overheard a couple of his team mates having a laugh because his dislocated finger required an ambulance to take him to hospital?!? and that was only because no helicopters were available!!

Not sure what movies you've been watching Leon, but that's not the type of finger specialist that Benny would be into....

Must of been a pretty nasty injury though, and I'm not convinced the old bull will make it back this year. I didn't see it, but from the amount of screaming and carrying on, together with Ben demanding an ambulance, surely it's worse than the reported "dislocation"
