Allmond by a country mile.

Justin "BOCA" Schahinger will get votes, despite our predicament this year.

My mail medal tips are Anthony Johnston (Virginia) to win and Lee Allmond (Two Wells) to be runner up

Johnston has been great for the rams this year, quality footballer.

BennyC will Burgess stay on next season as coach? If he does, its a pretty impressive show of loyalty and committment and patience for that matter.

I think he has alredy quit or been told he is not going on next year

Torrens Valley Bombers next year?

Heard a rumour along those lines over the weekend. Any truth? There are a couple of ex-bombers out there...more than capable of coaching!

Torrens Valley Bombers? Someone win the lotto Hamley Bridge way?

No. unfortunately Dover is leaving us. His patience has been impressive. Not many would have stayed after the second succesive year of wooden spooning with no assurance of an improved sufficient Pot size in future. (for signing of reputable Key players).

Swamp Donkey wrote:My tips for this week:

Mallala over Balak by 3 goals
HWE over United by 1 point (I really have no idea, United definatley capable, but I think need Brodie Brown in that side to be a real chance)
Virginia over Hamley by 15 goals, Geradis to kick 8, Papanotis to kick 6.

My tips for what they're worth:
Mallala over Balaklava by 19 goals
Virginia over Hamley by no more than 24 goals ;)
United over Hummocks by any margin will do :ympray:

Well this year is hotting up just nicely now big week in APFL footy. Could nearly say finals have already arrived especially for us and Hummocks!

Not only a big week in local footy but there is no bigger week in Dream Team now that Donkey and I have sorted out the men from the boys and its just us left, the others can watch on in jealousy as we both try and rally our troops for one last gasp win for what is the holy grail in Dream Team bragging rights. Will be a cracker of a match between what is clearly the best two strategic masterminds in DT footy. My tip in the biggest game of the year - TigerRoos by 46 pts.

What a game it is shaping up to be. Strategic masterminds is a pretty accurate description there MC, maybe we should ask Ace for his opinion given he has been watching over us both from the top of the ladder all year, though the Beergraders are most likely on their footy trip, given they were never a realistic chance of knocking either of us off and earning a spot in the Gf this week. Where are the boys off too Ace?

Glad you asked Swamp, the lads are still training hard waiting on the result of a court injunction to allow Buddy to play. Beer Grade are in the GF of the much higher regarded “top of the table” League against the Reverse Kangas so things are as usual in the Beer Grade camp. I will admit it was disappointing to lose when you have the best team on paper…. But that happens donk :D
Name out of the hat …. Brad Hardie.
Another point Id like to make…. Its very hard to pick an opposition player for a medal when you only see them play 2-3 games, for this reason…. Perhaps you lads would like to predict your own clubs top two vote getters.
Shaun Light and Jared Wilson for mine.

Pigsy, that actually crossed my mind when saw he announced his retirement but no reason behind it. Have you got anything more substantial linking him to the APFL

No idea who this peanut is. Buy me a beer and i might hang around mate. Will check with the boss tonight what our plans are tomorrow night. Probably end up seeing as many of us stay around as what you guys did 7 weeks ago. ;) ie: not many. You never know though.
