Willunga would formally like to announce they have acquired the skills of Darren Berry for the upcoming season. He has recently moved to the area and become quite a fan of the local community, setting up a small stall at the Willunga Farmers Market. Selling his famous Berry's Fig Chutney!!!

Outstanding News there Jimmy! I also ran into Darren at the Willunga Farmers Market and he was saying he has just been in contact with Warnakulasuriya Patabendige Ushantha Joseph Chaminda Vaas and that he was very keen to join the GSCA this year for the T20 comp! Exciting and I look forward to sampling some of Warnakulasuriya Patabendige Ushantha Joseph Chaminda Vaas famous eggplant relish a real pleasure on the pallet i hear!

Getting on a plane to Sydney on friday to see R Ponting ,word is he wants to get back to his roots in cricket and Goolwa suits his eye no talks of being captain he just wants to play, also said there could be a chance to get Hussey as he could do with some batting practice,so things are really shaping up well for Goolwa this year.

Want to know who will win the 2009 AFL premiership? Click the link and let Willunga's Alex Williamson and Rapid Bay's new recruit, Luke Harding show you, in a rather unorthodox manner:

Look guy, I've contacted Rhys Muter's agent to organize a chat, but the man is just to busy this time of year. Discovery Channel have him presenting and narrating a documentary on the history of the jetty in Rapid Bay. I don't want to start making outlandish rumours, but his documentary commitments might rule him out for the first half of the cricket season....

Correct me if i'm wrong though fella's, don't want to send the little mining town into a panicked frenzy.

Ok Can we get the conversation on this thread back to cricket cos jeez there has been some shit talked on here lately.

Any clubs set dates for when they start training? And have any clubs announced their captains yet?
