I have every right as a tax payer to ask why the BFC left the lights on all night? The PLCC pay for the lights marble park. Who was responsible and why were they left on? Answer the question.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Next question...

Not that I know of.

"The Fight..." Which was one of a few.

I have no problem naming the pr#ck that belted Chook... Archie Saunders... Apparently he was involved in some other incidents- see the first story in the police report in today's times...

I don't believe any of the Bryants (Chunky, Jars, or Springs) were there at any stage, but what started the fight simply was archie walked up to chook and went bang. simple as that.

Other things the League are investigating... Well... lets end that one... Apart from being a Boston supporter, I am involved at the League, and nothing is being investigated. Not even the fight at this stage.

"Swapping of jumpers" happened the week before last, after Turd had his nose broken in the ressies, IronKnob. the complaint was made too late, nothing to come of it...

Next question...

I heard it was 'motor' bryant who started a lot of it. I dont know the man but he sounds like a tool.

As for Saunders take the mail medal off him

Ok, it seems that some rather nasty skeletons have been dragged out of the closet over the last couple of days.

The mods have decided that any future reference made to the event will be cause for a holiday. No questions asked.

It's unneccessary, not to mention bloody insensitive to the victims who, for all we know, may read this site.

Also, each of the incidents are and have been dealt with by the courts or have pending court action so unless you're a lawyer with an official comment - don't comment.

Move on people

If anyone wants to query this decision, please PM myself or any other mod.

thanks

Sounds like bostons haven't changed, can't you have a beer at the club anymore over there without some drama?
Why don't you go to 4 teams, then you might weed out the trash.

How about we send a dozen members from the Gang of 49 to your club mate and when they belt everyone we'll blame the Flinders Park FC......

For once I agree with you westcoastpanther. It could have happened to any club in Port Lincoln. You try to make most people welcome to your club and give everyone a chance and this is what they do. If you say when they walk in 'You are not welcome here, please leave' you leave yourself open to all sorts of legal allegations these days (and I have seen it happen).

Footy Chick - you tell people to "move on". That's alright for you hundreds of miles away, sitting over there in the big smoke with not one iota of an idea of what goes on over here or the people over here. An incident occurred and it is in the press. It's not the first time and, more to the point, something similar happens all very too often.
Most of the victims are known by a lot of us and in some cases are close friends.
Moderators should do just that - moderate. Do not anger everybody by making insensitive comments by telling them to 'move on' and then roll your eyes when the victim is so very well known and liked.
The rest of your post is fine and what I'd expect of any moderator, but that bit rankled me.

And Mongral, if you knew what happened you wouldn't have made that comment

I think the editorial on page 8 of the times sums it up really well. Gutless attack.

Also Jimmy Pap's letter to the editor is also well written about the send off rule and send offs only being used for the MPFC. Well done Jim. Who the hell are Godfrey and Bowden?
