I got hit in the head batting on that pitch. Damn thing is a death trap.
I wouldn't mind playin on turf, i dont think it should be used as a finals ground tho. There may be another club that is looking to play a couple of games on turf this year.

What major changes have sides got to the ones they fielded last year in section 1.

At this stage WYC will be missing R Press(going to play b grade) R King(same as pressy) Mick McKay(possibly unable to play at this stage). Rob Hopkins and Ben McCormack will be racing to be fit for round one as Rob has a fractured shin and Ben still has his thumb in a splint for a torn ligament. It will certainly be a very interesting year for us with plenty of young ones who have been waiting in the wings in our b's given a chance to cement a spot in the A's.

Fordy and Jarryd McCormack are possibly outs for Sheidow going to Southern?

Keswick have a couple coming back (rumor has it that P McGowran has a new bat and is looking to force his way into the A's). I have managed to recruit another Indian fella too, take that Adelaide Indians!

Kingy said the same thing last year. We tanked and let him get a ton just so he would get back in the A's.

New bat, same person holding it though !!!!

2 weeks to WYC first training. Looking forward to it. Cant wait for the season to begin.
I reckon this year will be as close as what we have seen in the last 5 years. I would think that there 4 or 5 sides that are able to win this years premiership!

Kingy gave up chasing batting trophies when he joined WYC, the great R.Press was too well known.
Besides, he was chasing a premiership
Now all he wants to do is teach the young pups... standing at mid on all day
why aren't "Umpires" a team? they need support to

Chased a premiership and now has two of them :D :D . Good move to come to WYC for a flag, no doubt you will get one just a matter of how long you have to wait :D ;) .

He has a great deal he can pass onto the young pups and we will be a better club having him stay and do that. He will with Pressys assistance fast track a couple of the b graders to A graders in the next few years.

Just in the last couple of years he has had other priorities and doesnt take his cricket as serious anymore. Understandable. Got his missus now. So just depends wat tim wants to play i guess. Last i heard he wants to play D grade again (same as last year but by the end he wanted to play B grade).
