Glenelg 17 year old Hayden Jolly has agreed to terms with the Gold Coast Football Club and will head to Queensland later this year. Currently playing Reserves at the Bay, the right footer comes with big wraps from interim GC coach Guy McKenna, who stated that he has great scope for natural development and can be used in a variety of roles around the ground.
Jolly joins five other 17 year olds signed from the TAC Cup competition, Calder's Joshua Toy, Dandenong's Matt Shaw, Trent McKenzie (Western Jets) and Tasmanians Maverick Weller and Luke Russell.
Gold Coast are able to sign 12 17 year olds, born between January and April 1992.
