Mitchell will not be coaching at the bays next year. I agree that Dogga probably will not coach there but I know they have spoken to him already. Todd Butler my Favourite for the job.

Enough about the Encounter Bay coaching job... what's gonna happen this weekend???

Can the Hawks bounce back after a forgettable Round 18 to knock over the Doggies?

Have the Roosters found form at the right time of the year to account for the unpredictable Roos?

Were there any excuses for the Dogs last time they met the Hawks?
Can they turn the tables? I sincerely hope they can, exciting times at up at Compass. Well managed club heading in the right direction.

When was the last time Victor had their A's in the finals?

I reckon it'll be a tough game this weekend for the Creek against the Dogs, particularly if the weather is less than ideal. Still backing the Hawks to grind out a win though.

Strath have been flying the last few weeks too, I can see how Victor can get over top of them. Finals footy anything can happen though.

The weather for Saturday (in Victor) just keeps getting crappier and crappier as the week goes on :(

I looked yesterday and there was a bit of sun supposed to be about,
Not anymore by the looks !

Don't like the look of that at all A Mum - not just showers but fair dinkum rain by the looks of things. Could make things very interesting for all grades.

Creeks are definitely vulnerable in the wet.
It wasn't wet last week against Willunga, but it rained solidly for the majority of the B's, and the ball and ground no doubt would have been a bit greasy at times.

Agreed, the weather also contributed to the Strath loss earlier in the year IMO. Like you say though D&W, last week's game was in greasy conditions, so hopefully that will hold them in good stead for this week.

 Started already...
Great day at Artic Park yesterday for the annual Mudlarks Crap 4 cash day. Big Timmy Heath took home the $1500 but the big winner of the day was the $2.50 Pints & $4 spirits :drinkers: . Tilt took out the A grade BnF & Barry Clarke won the B's. The other highlight was no doubt, although coming 2nd to my ranga brother, myself kicking a checkside from the car park in the goal kicking comp after many beverages, much to Tilts delight as he won a few $$$ on it.

On a more credible note i hear Sarge & Wal Hutchy called it a day in A grade football. Both are terriffic blokes & have achieved so much in there country football careers. Sarges last kick in A grade footy was a drop kick goal from 35m out, which as the years go by will turn into 60 -70m. Well done boys :prayer: =D>

So your not denying the rumours then WOW??? ;)

Ha Ha. Never say never but thats all they are P32, rumors. Honestly havent thought about next year & where i'll be, Mahony & i will sit down again at the end of the year & see what happens. Looking forward to finals this week, where the real stuff starts.

Have you short listed a group of clubs for 2010?? Pongys major sponsor is Fleurieu Milk which would help those old bones of yours! I'll get them to call you ;)

Strath & Creek are my tips for this week

Baxters finger i believe is fine, dislocated it in the warm up with his nippers jus closing down too quickly on the ball. Crab Claws will be back for the 2nd semi.

Where did the picture of Benny go Grape Ape?

If you don't mind me asking but who is Todd Butler? He's not the bloke currently coaching Athelstone is he?
It would be interesting to see if they look at Ben Princi now he has gone away and done his "apprenticeship".
I heard there is also another former Bays player who is wanting to throw his hat in...

Yeah, ex Coach of EB, who coached a couple of premierships at Keith, not sure if he's still coaching down the South East.

Haven't they won a couple of premierships, or is it just 1?
