Will be happy if the Hammers can mange to get a draw tonight, it's one of those games where you catch a team who is in really good form, other times you get them when there struggling but Tottenham are flying after the first 2 games.

Pretty even first half really. Spurs created chances, but Spam had the better chances. Sory to say, but Barlton Bole really fluffed 2 golden chances. If Spurs can win, Mr Bole will only have himself to blame IMO.

Yeah agree, tottenham have been all over us (except last 10 minutes) but we have probably had the best couple of chances, your pace out wide with Lennon and Modric is killing us though. I think there might be a few goals in this second half.

Hahahaha, poor old Barlton Bole. Scores a screamer, then picks out Defoe with a peach of a pass which Jermaine smashed home.

1-1.

Good call on the goals whufc.

Finished West Ham 1 - Tottenham 2

Thought west ham were slightly unlucky not to get the draw, Barlton Bole :D goes from hero to villian within ten minutes.

Tottenham are going to trouble alot of teams with their pace. I was fairly happy with West Ham and thought Jiminez and Parker were very solid, Jiminez should get better as the year goes on and he adjusts to the pace of the EPL.

Will add as well, thought the ref did a brilliant job, there was a couple of close penalty calls which he was spot on with.

Agree with all of that whufc^^^^.

West Ham unlucky to not get a point, as I thought they were possibly even a touch better than us. It's great to see Spurs win even when we don't play particularly well.

This is the first time Spurs have won their opening 3 games since 1961............when we won the League.....an omen? I HOPE SO! LOL

Bring on the Brum Sat at the Lane, with Donny Rovers to cop a battering from our 2nd 11 on Wed in the Carling Cup.

cool. Hopefully the Clarets can hang on and even add to their lead.

What's happening with Everton this year? The Lescott debacle must be playing havoc in the dressing room. Seem like he's chucked all his toys out the pram. Bloody Citeh.

UP THE CLARETS!!

Another 1-0 win at home and that's 6 points that Owen Coyle will be chuffed to bits to have after 3 games.

Everton on the other hand are looking dodgy.

Go Burnley!!!

To be honest, with their squad it has to be said that Everton have maybe over achieved over the last few seasons. Maybe they will have a tougher season in and around mid table
It's Somma Time!

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

I froze in my lounge room with my mouth wide open. I felt sorry for the bloke he is one player at West Ham who puts in for 90 minutes every game, he has his doubters but his work rate is great. He appears to be at West Ham for the long haul, his reaction after the game said it all, he personally feels responsible for the loss by the look of his reaction IMHO.

If i was a manager/coach of a sporting team and i had a young squad, i would be showing them that ten minutes of the game where Cole goes from scoring a cracker which will be shown all around the world, to the most embarrasing blunder which will be shown all around the world as well. It was a great example of what sport can do to you, so never take anything for granted or get to far ahead of yourself, not that i thought cole did.

The Fox News presenter announced it "how to go from hero...to zero".

The Cole pass made me remember once in under 15's aussie rules i won the center clearance to start the 2nd quarter and booted the ball straight to the full forward 25 meters out directly infront. The only problem was i kicked it the wrong way and straight to the opposition full forward, he slotted the goal through and politely thanked me. We ended up losing the game by 2 points, it was halfway through the season and we procedded to miss the finals by yes 1 point.

Liverpool's bid to finish the season in 6th place has been given a boost at half time at Anfield.
After fouling 4-5 players and giving the ball away numerous times, the world class Lucas decided to give Villa a needless free kick from 25 yards out.
Not content with his efforts so far, he decided to turn the resulting free kick into his own net.
He is a star.
Liverpool are fortunate to have such a talent in their team.
Just on the stroke of half time, Reina gets yellow carded for arguing with the ref for giving Villa a corner that shouldn't of been given.
Result: Headed in and Villa 2-0 up at the break.

The yanks need to release the funds promised to RAFA to strengthen.
