First class cricket I would say, given the state of the pitch - something will happen that someone even on 200+ couldn't cope with!

Did it hit the ground before the boot though?

That was what I missed, I saw the dive but missed the replay which confirmed the boot part.

Consecutive fours for Huss, last thing he needs is a poor decision!

100 partnership up for HUssey and Punter well done boys but a long way to go.

Hopefully Swann dishes up a few more of those shockers he has just given to Hussey 2 4's in a row :D .

Warne would've been proud to move the ball as much as that last one from Broad.

Hopefully he is dumb enough to run down the pitch two more times and get kicked out the attack. He has bowled well so it would be a little bonus we could do with.

My bad for not having seen much of the match, but for those of you who have - Would Australia have fared better in their first dig if they'd shown this much application, determination, respect and/or nerve?

The ball just seems so slow off the pitch now, Ponting had to check the stroke there.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but they are now forecasting showers for tomorrow. IF we can survive today there is a slight chance that tomorrow could be interrupted with rain delays.

I'm too nervous to even watch the match at the moment. They seem to do better when I switch it off anyway.

Not only the first innings of this match, CP, but in the majority of the first innings of this Ashes series.

Very disappointing when the team builds reasonable sized second innings after having very poor 1st innings.
