Rumour has it that the Hamley Coach had the pleasure of some 1 on 1 time with the great Kevin Sheedy.
I believe that he may take some of Sheedy's tactics into the game tomorrow against Balaklava.

ur on the money dukey boy.

Will chance James Hird, Joe Misiti, O'lerenshaw, Bewick, Madden, Daniher or even Salmon be donning the Hamley Bridge guernsey tomorrow?
Daysofourlives... Sheedy has 4 flags and you have 2....;) lol.
What would have been the discussion in the car on route from the airport?

Looked a pretty impressive round of footy last weekend. HWE/Two Wells match looked like it must have been a beauty, with the Eagles getting on top late in the match. Joe Hunt and Daniel Thomas are definately the key to HWE success for the later part of this year, I'm tipping HWE will be win this week, beat TW in the 1st Semi and be playing off for a spot in the GF again in this years preliminary final.

Great the see Hamley kick a few goals on the weekend against the Peckers and make a game of it, on and up for the Bombers next season.

and Virginia outplayed Mallala in the final quarter on Saturday and had a fantastic come-from-behind win. Rams were slow out of the blocks but we very very impressive once they got up and going.

Only four weeks to go until she's all over for another year, and this year is shaping to be one of the more intriguing finals series we've seen for a long time.

My tips for this week:

Mallala over Balak by 3 goals
HWE over United by 1 point (I really have no idea, United definatley capable, but I think need Brodie Brown in that side to be a real chance)
Virginia over Hamley by 15 goals, Geradis to kick 8, Papanotis to kick 6.

Jugs tips for the final minor round of season 2009

Hummocks to beat United by 16 points
Balaklava to beat Mallala by 10 points
Virginia to beat Hamley Bridge by 30 goals

Mallala looking very shaky before the finals especially if hummocks take fourth spot and Virgina up and about before september :D

Not a lot between 24 & 30 goal, but a there's a lot of difference to the teams morale back then to now. Basically was requesting his thoughts behind the 30 goal comment.

BennyC will Burgess stay on next season as coach? If he does, its a pretty impressive show of loyalty and committment and patience for that matter.

Torrens Valley Bombers next year?

Heard a rumour along those lines over the weekend. Any truth? There are a couple of ex-bombers out there...more than capable of coaching!
If I wanted to hear from an A_sehole...I would fart.

My tips for what they're worth:
Mallala over Balaklava by 19 goals
Virginia over Hamley by no more than 24 goals ;)
United over Hummocks by any margin will do :ympray:

Well this year is hotting up just nicely now big week in APFL footy. Could nearly say finals have already arrived especially for us and Hummocks!

Not only a big week in local footy but there is no bigger week in Dream Team now that Donkey and I have sorted out the men from the boys and its just us left, the others can watch on in jealousy as we both try and rally our troops for one last gasp win for what is the holy grail in Dream Team bragging rights. Will be a cracker of a match between what is clearly the best two strategic masterminds in DT footy. My tip in the biggest game of the year - TigerRoos by 46 pts.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
