Almost like using yourself as a role model for modesty and humility plugger :D

Whats the fall out of the Prouse exit Drifter.
Who's up who?

No fall out just yet but I was shocked as most when I heard Prouse was not going to continue due to some players claiming that they will walk if he coaches next season. Eichner & Kemp where the two big names to say this, would have thought the club was bigger than those 2, Prouse had the club and the locals at heart. I think Prouse saw the potential troubles and to his credit not to apply again.

Skip

eichner maybe but KEMP is hardly a big name, 2 blokes that have been at the club 5 minutes. hopefully freeling can improve next year and then we will find out if eichner can play, at this stage in a bad side all we know about him is he goes allright when he plays loose across half back, like to see him man up on someone and still have the same influence. is that a fair call drifter/skip? have only seen him twice but never went anywhere near his opponent on those occasions.
Agreed skip the club is bigger than individuals

Angaston are only making up the numbers come finals time. The bombers were the better team for three of the quarters and Ango looked ordinary.

I don't know why there is so much talk about Bascome on this site but he is passed it was well beaten by Prior (no 29 for the bombers - who I hear is a b grade CHF normally)

There are too many Angaston minda's writing and talking Kurtz and Bascome up who aren't even in the best 50 footballers in the league.

Harvey played a blinder today and would have got the three votes - but make sure all the Ango supporters get to watch them in the first semi as thats where it will finish.

Whooaaa !!!!! Days my guess is that you had had a couple of lemonades at the Willaston end of season show when you made these last comments, judging by the time it was posted :)
To answer your first question. Eichner has been sensational all season. Probably not his better games against Willaston though. Is terriffic in combining defence and attack. Just like Prousey he is at every club function, is a good mixer and has the club at heart, same with Kemp. More than these guys though, some just happy to sit in the background.
I feel desperately sorry for Prousey, the players liked him to a man as an individual. I can see both sides. Its easy to say call the players bluff and the club is bigger than the individual when other teams have depth falling out of every orifice isn it. Would love to have the depth of say a Tanunda ( and I dont mean that disrespectfully). You can lose 5 players and only win by 6 goals. In saying that coaches deserve 2 years to prove themselves.
And as for shoot it, I would of love to have been beaten every week by my opponent and still kick 5, as you mentioned with Bascombe.
I wonder what will happen down at the dogtrack if they go out in the first week? I seem to remember that 3rd wasnt good enough last year. What were the reasons behind that one ??? There will be some tense sphincters down at drug deal park this week. The pressure is on!

WOW .... What a reply , your man crush on Bascombe is evident.

I remember the last time a bus load of Angaston spastics were told there no good. They left the Bushman Hotel with there tail between there legs and a few broken bones.

Angaston to make the GF and Bascombe and Kurtz are in the top 50 of the comp , that is the funniest thing i have heard on this board.

The blokes running this club really do have a way with coaches. Who in their rite mind would want the job now? Its bad enough that we were crap this year without all this other sh*t.

unbvelievable, players that took the club to bottom with some massive losses are trying to say who can coach and who cant. im sensing a bit of jake king/ terry wallace here. only 2 players there that could offer any sort of opinion but IMO players should not dictate who is the coach.
gotta feel for prousey going through all the s***t this year thinking there was upside next year

Be in no doubt it wasn't just players that weren't thrilled with Prouse. Elements of the committee had lost faith in him also. His communication with players wasn't the best, he missed a number of training nights, etc.
THEREFORE, if players and committee weren't keen on him any longer, it would seem the right decision.

Coach Hadden got an opportunity to oil his panther machine at Angas Recreation Park in a 5 goal win in blustery conditions.
A typical blue collar, workman like display wearing the opposition down.
The "B-TRAIN" chimed in with a lazy 5 goals and went off with a possible re-occurrence of the hammy.
Dawe may have also had a slight strain which seen him on the sidelines in the last quarter.
Harvey was admitted to Angaston District Hospital again with leather poisoning.
Bain and Kurtz made a hansom return to the line-up and showed no signs of time out of the game.
However, a few injury concerns to come out of the game, we will see how coach Hadden manages them this week.
Look forward to the battle this week at Tanunda.

Is it time for Tanunda to explore all avenues in the coaching dept? Keep hearing from some old faithfulls and sponsors that players will walk if he stays.

I coached the reserves at Barossa this season, I was also told that i had the job next year and then told half hour later that they would advertise because they have had other applicants. Also i didnt sign a contract when i took over two games in, because i didnt think i needed to. Took the words of the president and the football director that i would be paid x amount and was only given half. I was also meant to take over after Rian Nelson left. I was asked to then got shafted again by the same people, I was told that they had found someone else better and more experienced. I think for a guy who took on the job, put his hand up to do it, should get another crack. I had limited opportunities this year with players.Numbers were down, guys didnt train because they didnt have to to get a game.

Sounds as thought these blokes are a class act norm11.
I would be doing two things:
1. Express to the mongrels that you are entitled to your remaining coaching fees. Although you didn't have a written contract, you actually had a contract when they offered you the position and you accepted (written or verbal doesn't matter). The mongrels would have no leg to stand on if you took it a step further, it would be unconscionable for the club to withhold the payment. Claim the interest on the outstanding amounts as well.
2. Get the f**k out of the place, sounds like a circus is being run and the president is playing the clown.
Good luck!

Shoot it. You are a complete nob.
How you can say a guy beat Bascombe when he had 5 goals of 14 kicked on him
in 3 quarters is beyond comprehension.
Kurtz is 34 and would be well past playing for personal glory, top 50, who gives a poo?
Type all you want. Saturday will tell the story.

I would base this case on the constitution, the vibe or just Mabo.
Norm - I suggest you get Dennis Denuto involved in this case. :D
Shoot it - My favourite panther Brandon 'Man of Steel' Kurtz is like a fine wine, he keeps getting better with age. He will be number one by next year.

Firstly though, Nelson being a decorated player at Willaston and Barossa Districts, what the?

What sponsors are pulling out?
Over the top cost of James, if so how much is he supposedly getting?
What other coaches are apparently quitting?
What players are not returning?

James promising to bring Pearce from Kersbrook is completely untrue, Pearce is a born and bred Kersy boy and something pretty huge would have to happen for him to leave I would think as his father is the President of the club, not saying it couldn't happen.

If anyone has some real truth and proof about these questions, I would love to hear it.

I have been speaking to some people from Barossa and the club at this stage have no sponsors pulling out.
No money is be talked about on what James is getting.
The B's coach is going and told the club last week.
No talk about players going. Some players very unhappy about Ryan Nelson's sacking but not about leaving.
I asked about players coming with James and no names have been said.

CC, I find it funny why someone who isn't linked to barossa would do so much background work on the Barossa Football Club,

Tell me CC, Why did the B's Coach quit................... Hmmmm

As for sponsors pulling out, It takes a lot of puppies to be a sponsor at that level he was, a little clue for you CC, I know you know what that means

Took the misses up to the Pub for Seafood night and the word at the front bar just seven players on the track training tonight,

Sorry to hear this Norm 11, from the bay, Thanks for the Year, We will miss both you and Rian
I did see Rian in the crowd last Saturday, just sitting in his car.

More great work by the BDFC committee, A few more weeks and the sponsor leaving names will come out, The word in the crowd on the weekend was that the AGM is the time when a more then a few questions will be asked. Get ready.

Thank Allah that we can speak freely in this democratic society.
Where I come from, it is forbidden to commit such an outspoken act.
Norm11 - Lets commit Jihad on Barossa District.
I've got a few planes and a few lads hiding out around the Willamstown area in readiness to meet 12 virgins.

So lets get it straight Norm.
1. Barossa District Football Club appointed you as Coach.
2. They have only paid you half of your yearly coaching fee.
3. They then gave you the nod to temporarily replace Nelson as the interim coach.
4. They went back on there word and replaced you with Twaits.
Correct?
