Broad will end up being a better player than Freddie   .

Our only chance here is to bowl the poms out for less than 125.

Will call it now. Hussey and Ponting to both make hundreds in the second dig to win the match. Ponting to save his captaincy with the knock. Hussey to save his career and then average 100 in the Australian summer against the second eleven from WI and Pakistan.

I just woke up ;)

Is this Pontings last game as Captain?? For me, i think it is! Time to hand over the rains to Clarke. Give him time to captain in series against WI and Pakistan and have him well set as Captain for the Ashes series in 10/11 in Australia.

Thoughts?

Because it's ridiculously knee-jerk.

I mean 10 days ago we were going to retain the Ashes, Ponting was a champion, and now, now all of a sudden he's a dud captain, sack him, wah wah!

Agreed it is a bit knee jerk by CK after a poor session by the Aussies.

However, how many more series will Ponting skipper this side. He will see this Aussie summer out and maybe the the next 6 months after that but i feel the time for him to handover to Clarke will be coming sooner rather than later.
