this is a must win game at home for birmingham, and if they cant score with David James in goals, then there is something very wrong

Not a fan of DJ? I think he's decent. nearly 40 and probably one of the fittest players in the prem.

The majority of the rest of the Pompey side is rubbish though.

Burnley still 1-0 uo and defending beautifully.

Let's just hope the ref doesn't **** it up by giving a shonky pen.

Brum 1-0 over Pompey via a McFadden penalty.

Happy MT? Sounds like Brum deserved to win.

Oh shit, we might need hear from Johnnyboy for another week now :partyman: :partyman: Way to go mate.

In what was probably a boring Liverpool v Stoke match, keep an eye out for Gerrard's work with the 3rd goal, exquisite.

Funny you should say this as it sounds like Owen had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside?

IIRC there was no bad offside calls, Man Utd looked very flat and lacking a creative spark without Ronnie in the side. Valencia gets to good postitons but his final ball was terrible on nearly every occasion. Man Poo are definately going to have to sharpen things up as Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal on the ball early. In saying that though Man U have traditionally started season slow but a loss to Burnley would not have been in the plans.

Just because Liverpool beat Stoke 4-0 at home doesn't mean they are 'on the ball' that was their best performance for 2 months. Remember they were terrible in their first match.

Chelsea are still the ones to beat sadly.

NOT a huge fan of DJ DA, having said that the penalty against him was quite harsh

Bolton are interested in GUN Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford. Hopefully they don't get him as losing Beckford could potentially derail our campaign
