South, Kapunda, Barossa and now Freeling...All new coaches for next year... an alarming trend in the BLG for the last 2 or 3 years...

My thoughts...

South - Would be chasing Milky Vivian really hard, if Kym retires this year he no longer has ties to Centrals...
Kapunda - The player coach they always wanted this year, Mal Greenwood was first preference I am led to believe
Freeling - My dark horse would be 'Bear' Eichner, done well with the 17's last 2 years, knows the youthBarossa - Obviously already sealed as James...

I wouldnt think so but with what goes on in the club at the moment who would know

Can quite easily say that Corrie Eichner will not coach the A Grade next year? There are a number of people that the club are in talks with, you will find that the football club will definitley go forward next yaer with some handy recruits already confirmed.

Apparently, finishing in the bottom 4 signals the end for a coach in our fine league.
Mind you, they say Lubcke was no sure thing either....too many ego's at these clubs,
No one is prepared to rebuild for 3 years, just the quick fix option of throwing dollars around.
Bet Kapunda wouldv'e offered Greeny a farm with 3 of the bustiest milk-maids at his beckon call to get
him to migrate in their direction.
Didn't Freeling approach Osama to be a playing/coach, apparently they offered him good coin and all the chairs he can
break on a Saturday night, and we know the ladies out there love him.
All these vacancies bodes well for the robust assistant at Willaston, how many clubs will be knocking on the door of the Pig pen.

LC, I think your on the right track with a Vivian coaching Souths but I wouldn't be surprised if Burley joins his sister (D1 coach in the Netball at South) at the Den and takes up the role as A-grade coach. Peter would join him as his mentor and make South a real family club.

I went to the GC v Kapunda to see if GC would be any chance at going all the way... quite frankly im not convinced... there was a lot of on field chatter between players and just plain bullshit...

im a big fan of youth and one moment in particular stuck out in my mind... i didnt have a barracker and dont no GC well enough to know names... but the moment i recall i think it was number 9 (not 100% certain) gathered the ball and delivered the footy to a team mate 60m away that resaulted in a goal... but copped an a fricken mouth full from team mates... whats happening at centrals we dont no about...

also whats happened to young charlie molyneaux... thought he had taken an import spot but he played 17s... whats the go there... surely GC didnt say he was no longer required in the A grade... any strings attached there or what... anyone know anything out of the tigers lair...

Number 9 would have to be young Lachie Hewitt.
This abuse against team mates at Gawler Central has been happening ever since Jesus played fullback for Jerusalem.
Or at least since the graduation of Jenner, Hill, Vivian, Hermann and the main instigator King.
It is common knowledge that if you let the Tigers get a start they will blow sides off the park in a glamorous free running game.
Conversely, when they get a few goals down they will self implode with destruction, when the likes of King start bad mouthing other players.
That is why there is the current perceived culture within the club at the dog track.
In my day I would have taken my team mate out the back and sorted it out donnybrook style.

I dont know where you guys get your info from but the players mentioned above are great leaders of the club and offer valuable encouragement to the young guys in the team. King is probably the most encouraging among them all.

I think your ears here what they want to hear. Sure Aaron might go off at a team mate but that is whats called constructive criticism, he has the team at heart. People outside the club dont understand the way Aaron is and it can come across as abuse but the players know its his way of encouraging the group.
Why dont you guys worry bout your own rabbles, most of you are now coachless, i would think that may be of a bit more concern.

95% of the players wanted scott to stay as coach, but the commitee saw it different and sacked him. This year the commitee wanted prouse but a few players didnt so they sack him. Someone work that out.

great call no offense to prouse but scotty was a great coach and that call to sack him has left people angry, to keep him as a player was enough to hold onto him but he had great players with him also, and he took locals with him to his new club, terrible from freeling's brain trust

i hear nelson doesnt like the heat much so im sure theres a job for u taking the preseason b4 handing over the reigns, it would also get u in shape for the running duties. i t might even be enough to get u out of the form slump u will be in, score a few runs and make a late charge to avoid relegation

Kym has only ever lived in the shadows of the great Milky's career.

Damian Prouse - Another coach on the outer after 2009.
$4.55 - Shane Broad - Will the club go for a younger variaty of coach, has had successfully coached at A-Grade level and may be an appointment with a long term vision.

Tanunda v Gawler Central - Tigers to cause an upset and beat the minor premiers at the Dog Track
Angaston v Kapunda - Angaston hoping to get some players back, should win but need to play all 4 quarters this week
Willaston v Barossa - Willaston to end their season on a high

South will give Nuri a shake, upset slightly possible, won't matter for Nuri coz Gawler won't win. Nuri by 22pts.
Angaston to get that bit closer to full strength, Kapunda would have to be real good, Ango should win by 10.
Willaston V Barossa- Match of the round, Gawler can't beat Tanunda and this could go either way so this gets the gong.
Willaston by 12pts.
The league could break attendance records for finals this year, providing 2 things,
Gawler lose the 1st semi, and people can actually be bothered squeezing into Williamstown oval for the 2nd.
