Rnd 21 Preview - Norwood v North @ Coopers - (Fri N 21/8)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Aug 17, 2009 1:19 pm

So Norwood are coming off a confidence boosting win over the Maggies and North, after being totally outclassed by Central, are facing 5 losses in a row. The last time these 2 sides met on a Friday night, North got the points and played some very good football, something they haven't done for a while now.

All makes for what should be a great game of footy, looking forward to getting down to The Parade for this one, hopefully it is a nice balmy night. I think North are likely to welcolme a few handy players like Wright, Alleway and possibly Schwarze back into the side so they may just be too strong and desperate for the Legs.

North by 3 goals

 Nah, don't be a joker in the pack.

We are just about getting our heads together and playing responsible footy again.

See us next year, we will recover to be a force again.

Cheers

Sorry to put a dampener on things but it is mathematically impossible for Norwood to make the finals as North and West cannot both lose every remaining game as they play each other in Round 22.

Everyone should also note that this game has a very big significance.

It will be the last under the old lights!**

Historic moment then. Will Norwood hold a big day for when they knock the lights down?

Always great to hear of players showing great determination and coming back from long term injuries in the SANFL when its so easy to just chuck it in.

When on the park Borlace along with Zorzi has been the most consistant and our midfield has been found wanting without him.

Well done Borlacca tear em up tonight.
