In terms of favourable decisions in home Tests over the years I think the scales are still tipped heavily in the Australia's favour.

Australia will still win the Test.

Agree with all 3 points WOF.

Also is it a coincidence that as TV technology has advanced over the years that umpires have become worse and we (The TV viewer) have become better lounge chair umpires?

Just on Rudi, the thing that shitts me the most about him is the excruiciatingly slow finger raising when giving dismissals. FFS just stick the bloody finger up and stop drawing attention to yaself.

I'm actually insulted by that. I, and I'm sure many others, could tell LIVE that is was CLEARLY NOT OUT.

lets not forget the brillant decision he made to give a not out caught behind when Symonds was bowling. We can go with the human element where at times we will have mistakes or we can have R2D2 and C3PO where we still may get the wrong results. Get over it you sooks. Hussey yes got a bad decision but cricket generally evens it self out in the long term.

By other shocking decisions? I see. So 2 wrongs make a right?

What do you want NFC. The third umpire to sit in the stand and control the game. Ponting picked the wrong ball to pull and got out, he made a mistake hes only human and so is Rudi.

If we want to get the proper result in a test match, or any match, the ICC should use the technology that's available to them. Yes players make mistakes, but they're the ones that should be deciding who wins and loses the game with their mistakes or lack of them, not crappy umpiring decisions.

The NRL use the video referee when a contentious try needs looking at, the ATP Tour (tennis) are starting to use hawkeye when they can. Why can't the ICC?

He wants what we all want. COMPETENT UMPIRES. We've got the world's best umpire taking control of Bangladesh while the Ashes gets Rudi and Doctrove. Yeah Rudi is human but doesn't excuse ongoing incompetence. Rudi, you are the weakest link.
GOODBYE.

regards,

A guide dog would do a better job than Rudi.
