Hmmmm.
That bit of news might just sway me to pick the Dogs on the coming weekend now. ;)

In al seriousness both kids have been fantastic for North thi year. Sloane has been the hardest one at it IMHO in the whole team but just lacks a bit of polish with his disposal. Davis has improved out of sight as he's gained confidence, one of those players that seems to have a lot of time up his sleeve but still prone to the occasional stuff up when he lowers his head.
Both are fantastic prospects for the Crows but I'm not sure if either is ready yet, definately would be next season though.

Have a feeling about this week that North may well come out and have a real red hot go, they are getting enough of the ball week in and week out it's the skill level that's killing them, lose, Sloane and Davis to the Crows will give them little to no chance of winning, dont think both will be taken by the Crows and I reckon that the Roosters may well win this one. And hopefully although probably not I will be there to witness it.

My tip North by 14 points

Geez locky - have another drink! ;) You can't be serious picking North???

BTW - Crows (according to a quote from John Reid in the 'Tiser) have virtually ruled out selecting Davis (they would have seen his clangers last week!) and Sloane would be no chance this year unless the bubonic plague ran thru West Lakes.

Agree, probably talking them up for a bit of confidence but although both are close I don't think this year IMO unless Crows were out of finals contention. Can see both having long futures though, not with the Roosters unfortunately.

Last rumour I heard Sloane has been picked for Adelaide tomorrow night but not Davis.

As for the game itself, both matches between the two sides this year have been close matches, with Centrals just doing enough to get over the line on each occasion. Once again, I don't expect the game to become a blowout, and will be another tight encounter.

Centrals by 15 points.

Yes spot on - just saw him at the Airport with the team preparing to fly out.

Bit of a loss for us if that's the case, not sure he's quite ready but the kid is full of guts and hope he goes well.

Bad call re Sloane Skeff.

BTW - I think Armstrong (of the Crows type) is to have a run in the Ressies this week ;)

And I was defending Sloane about 3 months ago when North fans couldn't work out why he was in the league side. Just needed a few matches under his belt and now look at him. Regularly getting 20+ touches and tackling like a machine.
