I had a colleague (european) with the name Beat Imhoff

Knew a Sqn Ldr called Michael Hunt who loved answering the phone 'OC Supply...Mike Hunt speaking'

Worked with a Chris Moss who would go thermo nuclear if anyone called him Christmas.
Also a lad called Foster Grant as in the sunglasses and a lad we thought was called Gary until an official letter arrived in the mail addressed to Gaylord (first name).

As for nicknames the best I knew was a Navigator called Flt Lt Tickle...obviously his nickname was Tess
