Lets post what we have learnt from this thread.....

1. Never take odds-on (could probably make that $2.50 or less IMHO)
2. Never back McEvoy, Thompson
3. Be patient. Hunt for value. compare prices at all agencies.
4. Look for mistakes, over-reactions or slow updates by agencies

Did you back Fordee for the place like I suggested???? $4.90 sportsbet I got the place.
I didnt lose money on the day....

They dont win everytome at $35 FFS..... Praps I should have tipped MIc Mac at $1.80 and made myself look good :roll: .... whats better tipping a $35 chance and seeing it get up one in 20... or 20 tips and getting 10 winners at $1.80... you do the sums....

Just suggesting Fry will be fav dodgy... In no way am I suggesting to back him....

Good work Grub, i didn't get on 4D, after watching C21 flop for the rest of the day i disregarded stayers 1st up. El Segundo was another one we should've got on to keep the theme for the day. Would connections of C21 be disppointed with that or was it just a run? Lack of pace didn't help, ruined Symphony Miss' chance too.

hasnt got a ride in the first race dodgy. 4 jocks of the six runners are in the JC and will score points....... shall we wait??? I think so, as one of the fancies will score and shorten....eg Fry, hall, Mallyon, Evans

Whitely has 4 rides... 3 will be fav and 1 dud ride. but law of averages say one of the favs will miss.... suggest he ends up on 6 points max.... stay away from Whitley !!!!!
