There is no doubt that Clay will continue as the coach of SAFC with the full support of the board.

Wouldn't happen to be Tony Burgess, strife and sh!t follow that tool every where. I don't think he has ever been at a footy club and the club has been stable at the same time. Always doing his best to undermine the league coach to further his own aspirations. Just like he did to Simmons down the Bay.

...and he has left clubs (West and Bays) and they have become more successful....crazy if this is true!!!

That was in the mail that my Postie delivered last Friday. I'm thinking Cavanagh & Co are trying to keep this all "under wraps"

None of that should be made public and puts Sampson in a supremely difficult position.
Now everything that happens will be aired in the media, here and everyewhere and will be speculated on as to how it impacts on his chances to retain the job.
That is an untenable position and if it were me, I would tell them to shove their job and go find a new coach (if they can get one who wouldf be remotely interested) and who is happy to be put on notice in such a public manner.
If they do give him the flick, who is going to want the job after they treat blokes in this way?
And if they want more time out of him, then yeah pay him accordingly, so he doesn't have to consider how it affects his livelihood.
South top boffins don't know how to manage a pimple on the arse of a Football Department.
