Yep westminster is great to play on. Good pitch too, i can actually turn the ball there, allegedly  8) .

Your oval at Marymount must be a good surface TH.

Morphy Pk is always good to play at good size, great surface, changerooms and clubrooms where the bar is open from midday.
Got the outside window to the bar so you can just stand there all day in the shade and watch the cricket and you are right on the boundary line.

Morphy park is one of the worst ovals going round..... okay maybe one of the worst but it would be in my top 10... good facility's tough...

I would say Brighton high is my favourite Ground to play on. Its a good size and a great surface. Also i reckon edwarstown isnt too bad.

I was just thinking does anyone have a ground that they individually always do well on or a team they always play well against? I would have to say North Haven... i just always seem to do well there. Only ever had one bad game against them too bad it was a grand final.

I have generally done well against South Rd at Edwardstown oval. Don't think i have ever lost there and i also witnessed the quickest hundred i have ever seen by Todd Roberts and also 3 huge 6's in a row by him of Peterson.

I recall Hectorville as being a pretty hard surface at times, tho a very good size. Can't say it was a nice area or a nice bunch of blokes.

I've heard Chook Spina still rolls the arm over for them. Fortunate enough to face him well after his prime.

Agreed Hunter those were 2 of the better grounds last year however who needs a carpet like surface when a man mountain such as yourself can hit them over the rope?

Dunno about hittin over the rope...thats a long way for me. Perhaps if they were brought in 25 metres or i was playing at WYC. That little pocket at Western Youth is about the best chance ill get!

Dont have a team persay Sarge however i will have Tony Fromane umpire any day of the week. I recon goin on the last couple of years when we've had him i always seem to make runs and/or take wickets! Otherwise i do love playing at North Haven too. Scored a couple there over the last few digs.

Section 4 ( SUPER TEAM )

Postby Deep Heat » Mon Aug 10, 2009 6:11 pm

have heard rumours that there is a section 4 side in the adelaide suburban cricket association filling there side with former CHAMPIONS of the game hunting for a premiership and a rise up to section 3 i cant mention names but the captain is a flamboyant left hand batsmen with a cracking cover drive who has been known to park his car very close to the pitch on one occasion

Hopefully against ICC's thats all i can say lol stupid stupid idea. leave it at 40 how it is. no reason to be confused. simple. easy. 2 days in the last 2 years called off due to heat. (could be 3). not a problem with current system.
