Pac man your a gawler west man have you heard anything on the streets about who is going to coach south next year?

I hear they might be back where they were in the 90's when the role was shared by club 3 legends doing it for love to keep the lions head above water. The brown/schwerdt/mccullom combination was a success, perhaps its time to dust of old plans.

im still on the money here daysof.. with angaston considering bascombe as a pinch hitter their spot in the four can't be guaranteed.

few interesting hats in the ring there.. my reference checks.

Brandt is an interesting proposition and he pulled the tigers out of the poo 3 years ago.
Thomas has had success at div 1 level whether south have the same finances to compare apples with bananas.
Vivian wouldn't need to change much south already play the front running brand of footy the tigers were reknowned for.

The "B train" is ready for boarding. Haven't decided if he will play the 12.40 or 2.20 game yet.
He has been training at full capacity for a few months now, and will look to explode out of the blocks when released...
Looking forward to see him split anyone in half that comes in his way when he returns to the field.
Watch this space...

Last time I saw the great BB he looked like he was going to explode then (pie in one hand and a stubby in the other). Eichner did his driver last night at training with Freeling and will not play again this season, the legs are playing with a totally local side against the blockies. I can't see the scoreborad looking too good here.

be great for the comp tho if barossa can pull off a miracle and the donnies get over centrals. give next weeks matchup between the master and apprentice some real spice
would breath some life into what has been a pretty dull competition this year. the only real upset all year has been the dogs over centrals.
anyone have an opinion on why this is so? the bottom half just doesnt seem capable of a once off victory over the top half.

Daisy - Without running the risk of sounding like Einstein.
Positives - Angaston and Nuri have taken off from where the finished 2008 with a natural progression up into the four.

Interesting  fact of the year there Duke.
I forgot that Seelander and Dawes won Reserves medals.
Interesting that they have been able to forge coaching careers from limited A-Grade experience.

yes the donnys looked shot at the half way mark but there is still enough footy left in this season for me to throw a few more cans down.

the significant difference is that Kapunda made finals last year with 8 or 9 wins if results go the way everyone tips in the last 3 rounds 11 or 12 wins for top 4 in 2009.

Former Willaston Custodian Bradley " Boof " Claok is another notable winner of the Beer grade medal.

Expect Craig Dawe to experiment a little with his side today against a inexperienced Willaston. I know he is keen to try guys in other positions to get his match up's right for September action against Nuri , Ango and Tanunda.

King , Jenner , Taylor will cause kaos for zoolander today, just wont have the resources to stop them all.

pac-man dawe and your tigers will be in a lot of trouble come september if todays showing is anything to go by. not sure i witnessed many experiments that worked, the usual cards were played and were looking second rate against the inexperienced donnybrooks.

Dawe would be relieved they got a win in the end when willaston stopped about 10 mins into the last Hahn got them the points. the blokes on the sidelines were just lucky i'd finished my 6 pack before the donnybrooks ran out steam.

If south were to merge with Angle Vale would they still stay in this league or take their rabble to the Adelaide Plains.

There Facilities are shizenhousen - with substandard changing facilities - poor showers - no warm up area's - a pathetic siren and poor covering around the oval in the wet conditions.

They should never be allowed to hold a final until they improve the facilities.

i hear they have made some improvements in the last 10 years, back in my day south used to shower with the opposition, i'd just wear my shorts to the game and wait till i got home to wash down.

Gawler Central 5.3 9.7 11.8 17.10 (112) - GC create history, with a record attendance of 4 people pressing through the turnstiles.
Willaston 2.3 10.4 16.5 17.7 (109) Koch nearly masterminded the Gawler Central hierarchy.

Angaston 7.3 17.5 21.7 25.9 (159) - The general of defence, Brandon 'Man of Steel' Kurtz locked in his team of the year selection.
Barossa District 1.4 3.8 7.11 12.5 (77) - Slow start, had to throw their big guns into the middle in the second half to get some drive.

Kapunda 6.2 10.4 17.5 19.6 (120) - Don't care, Kapunda don’t have broadband.
South Gawler 4.3 5.10 9.13 14.18 (102) - Looks as though some bad kicking cost Texas Rattlesnakes boy's.

Tanunda 8.2 14.8 23.12 34.18 (222) - Kennedy had a lazy day bagging 17 goals.
Freeling 0.1 0.3 1.4 3.5 (23) - Surprise, Surprise Leske didn't get best, even though Eichner didn't play.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

i couldnt agree more there PH. central were very ordinary today, hahn and taylor and murch got them over the line in the last 1/4. wackas boys will not see any september action this year IMO. with the "B" double getting thru todays game ango will make very light work of the front running pussycats.
did WAC and pac-man manage to sneak in2 todays game? if u 2 did which of the 6 big mouths at the bar were u 2? i have a feeling u are alot closer to the brains trust than u are letting on WAC
