Is 4) Norwood versus Glenelg, mid to late 80's. I think Norwood won the game.

I'll pay that. It was in 1976.

The margin was 55 points.

Round 4 1976
North 4.5 7.7 11.13 21.18 (144)
Torrens 6.3 16.8 18.10 21.11 (137)

2 was South in 1997. Drew with West at Noarlunga then Glenelg at the Bay.

On 4: I had a vague memory of the biggest comeback being 70-odd points at Unley, Sturt v Central, in the late seventies? Can you dig up the scores of that one spelly?

2 is correct.

That game was in 1982; the 70 points was midway through the second quarter - the biggest comeback overall.

Round 16 1982
Central 2.2 8.9 14.17 20.23 (143)
Sturt 9.5 15.6 18.11 21.15 (141)
Unley, 6218

I meant 1976. The mid 70's are all a blur to me (too much glam rock)

If no-one has got the correct answer by 9pm today (Saturday), I'll reveal the answer. You must have the score, the team and the year to get it right.

No one has got it right so here it is: (Bearing in mind the posts time is in non-DST)

Team: Eagles
Year: 2001
Score conceded 3 times in row: 9.9 (63)

Round 22: Eagles 7.4 (46) Central 9.9 (63)
Round 23: Eagles 12.7 (79) West 9.9 (63)
Q-Final: Eagles 11.10 (76) Port 9.9 (63)

The other questions to summarise the answers are:

1. Twice: 2004-05
2. South in 1997
3. See above
4. 55 points: North vs Torrens in 1976
5. South in 1991 - lost to North and West.
