HAHA, teacher yelled at you.....
Good old Bascombe was barrelling team mates in competitive drills last night at training,
probably doesn't bode well for the Barossa lads this week, he looked like a man that was very, very hungry,
but at the same time very, very well fed.
If he gets his aging and ample body right he WILL be a factor from here on in, regardless of playing time so far this year.
There is genuine value in a player that is feared for his ability to play and intimidate.
Also, being the club man that he is, he has taken it upon himself to make sure that canteen sales have only decreased minimally
since the departure of Kocho, and chair breakages in the club are down 84% in his absence too.
Now, if he has played 1 game so far this year, there are 3 minor rounds to go, and then 3 finals,
reckon the big man will play 7 by my calculations this year.

bloody stew, if his body aint right now its never going to be!!

I doubt there is anyone in the competition has anything to fear from Mr Big, he's about as intimidating as a salad sandwich on a construction site.

Not sure that opposition players ON the field would agree with the salad sandwich bit,
Not deep down in a place where they can't lie to themselves.
He may not be as quick as he was, but its a long drive in the car to get around him.
Runs straight lines too, maybe because he now has the turning circle of the HMAS Kanimbla,
but should you be situated inside that straight line......BANG.

hey daysof or PH,

just wondering if you can fill us in on an incident that occurred last saturday when you guys played south... not sure if it was someone just making up shit to pull my leg... but i heard young richie rosewall pulled up pretty sore after his latest encounter with his former club...

also heard the bloke that hit him got reported and then didn't show for his tribunal hearing... any truth in the rumour...

The "B TRAIN" will be departing Gawler Terminal at 10am on line for arrival at Angaston Terminal at around 11am.
Still unsure if the King-pin will kick off at 12.40 or 2.20.
Book your ticket soon, tickets selling fast.
Pac-Man... If you want to bring the family out for the day, I am sure you will qualify for some sort of unemplyment concession.

What is the current situation with the Gawler clubs having to pay a small lease on their facilities.
Could this see the three Gawler clubs become extinct, inturn, bring the competition back to the B&L glory days?
Which clubs will fold first Willaston, Central or South?

Sounds like some man love going on at Pantherland
Bascombe would have to be coming back through the early game! What he used to lack in pace he now lacks more!

Theres a blast from the past! If Bascombe had half the ticker of Banjo he might of have been a reasonable footballer.

You ever butt heads with Banjo during your playing days PH ?

I remember him as a fierce competitor who had alot of respect from his comrades.

Seriously whats the go there. Have heard Souths have a Council bill of $120,000 and Willaston $80,000. Surely this cant be right.

Surely a team like South will just relocate to Sandy Creek or something like that,
Couldn't possibly be a downgrade in facilities....
Nothing wrong with the man-love at Ango, gets cold up there,
and Bas is just a big cuddly teddy bear.
Is the time of year that you miss having a nice big daysofourlives or Dr.Pink to shelter behind when
the cold wind picks up.

oh yes i ran through wallaby jack a number of times and just when I thought I'd finally snipped the strings of his banjo he'd hit his feet and come running after me all puffed up like frightened frill necked lizard

he was an extremely durable footballer who was always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Roger Linke is a previous great recipiant of the "B Grade" association medal.
His name sits comfortably alongside legends of the game to have won the medal such as like Clarke Thiele, Olly Seelander, Bob Smart, Wacka Dawe and Les Baker to name a few.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Word out of the playford council is South Gawler are very close to merging with Angle Vale. I guess the Lions would love to hang on to there own identity but with increasing and oustanding debts , poor crowd support and no success on field the future looks grim at the den.
