RAMS RAID FOR BARKER

Derby have finally sealed the signature of their number one summer transfer target, with Shaun Barker signing from Blackpool for a fee of around £900,000.

The Rams beat off stiff competition for the 26-year-old centre back, most notably from arch rivals Nottingham Forest, with Barker signing a three-year deal at Pride Park.

He is only 19 i think, so it is a good deal for him. Hopefully develops well and could be a player to watch in the future for Villa. Would love to know what the fee was though.
