Aside from the obvious Norwood names in the period 75 -85, was a huge fan of David Armour
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

The question that was asked on this thread was 'Just thinking today that a lot of people on here would have been supporting there teams, for 10, 20, 30 or more years so just wanted to see who has been the player you have enjoyed at your club the most since you have followed your team, it might be because of the way they played, or the character they were etc.

I thought a bit about that and I really liked David Armour coming off the back flank - brave, kicked long, good mark, tackled in an era when a lot of blokes didn't seem interested in tackling. Lot of things that are easy to notice when you are kid.

However, if the original question had been;

'Who from your club could no wrong whatsoever, was your first total obsession player that you never really moved on from and, as a sidelight, was horribly dudded by his own club in for some completely unexplained reason was not able to make their team of the century?', you would have got a different answer from me.

it would have been

ROGER WOODCOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
