Anyone confirm that an investigation is curently underway regarding Central A grade points for Players involving 3 out of the top 5 teams? Apparently these teams have been playing ex-SANFL reserves players as only 2 pts not the standard 3pts. May have some serious effects is this is correct. Anyone else heard this news?

2 browns and 3 coxes are locals while the mcleans are in there 3rd yr at the club and about the same for simon ebert

Didn't know that Browns were locals. Did they play junior footy there or move to the town?

yer both browns played under 17's for uraidla, have been around for many years

Lets also remember on top of this you had a kyle sutton in the a grade with little bro joel in the B grade. Braden and Russell Wotton in the B Grade. Enzo Ferrari coaching the B grade with brother Pos playing. Its a family affair out on Parker Park.

I don't think he'll get best on Saturday...
I think he'll poll well but you'd think he'd need 3 votes in every win to get a sniff.

Injuries are injuries and everyone has them so that isn't a great excuse in my books. Only excuse i can use is we had 2 under 17's play who had already played a game that day. Other than that, it's 21 footballers vs 21 footballers and we were just outplayed.

Important we stay positive though and look at having a really competitive game this week.

So the top 4 in the A2's has really opened up after the weekend. Lofty pumped Barker by 10 goals, has that knocked them off the top spot to Blackwood? Has anyone got scores from the other A2 games on the weekend??

Being a Lofty supporter at heart, you would think that a win against Uri's this Saturday may get them a top 3 finish? Then a solid win at home against Hahndorf and a pumelling in the last round against Bridgy?? What a cracker finish to the season it will be! :)

Don't know! The conditions were pretty average and just could not convert from set shots. Seems to have been somewhat of a problem of late. I dare say goal kicking practice is a definite for their training this week, they wont get away with such crappy kicking against Uri's this Saturday.

Will be a brilliant match, Uri only just got over Lofty in the last minute of the game last time. If its another close match, 3rd spot could come down to the smallest amount of percentage.

I see that both Lobethal and Bridgewater both advertised their coaching positions on the weekend. Obviously trying to get a head start on the rest of the teams who traditionally advertise at the end of the season.

I can think of a few HFL players getting near the end of their careers who may be good coaches.

I Have heard the same thing. I heard that one club (I think Ironbank) is taking it up with the HFL saying they believe that some clubs have not been allocating enough points to some players.
(eg. A player who played SANFL reserves last year is worth 1pt plus 3 bonus points therfore a total of 4pts, however they believe that they have only been considering it as 3 points forgetting that every player is worth 1pt to start with.

If this is correct (I don't know if it is is isn't) what would be the penelties for these clubs? I would think it should be pretty severe, considering every club knows the rules, although we all know how weak the HFL is with making big decisions and it would probably only incur a slap on the wrist with nothing happening.

If it is just the one player in question, I guess it would only matter if that one point puts the side above 35. Is it one of the clubs in the top 5 as earlier stated?
