Extremely dissapointed to miss Hogg Premier finals by a couple percentage points. :(
Dropped a few games i shouldnt have! Full focus has turned to claiming lower tier cup now.

Chapman being out for 2 weeks removes the main disadvantage I had with those REB-ites. I was thinking of bringing him in this week to block the advantage.

That's bad luck. No doubt someone from my team will now drop before the end of the week.

Just realised my "advantage" from this only lasts until round 21 ... he'll probably be back and firing for the preliminary final :-ss

Inevitably, the two week injuries turn into three or four week injuries ;)

None of the top four in Div 1 have got him anyway :(

Just got chappy around 4 weeks ago. Sucks he is out. He was my trump player on my way through the div 1 finals. it would have been great to get him up again like he played against the crows.

lucky i have some trades left ;)

!@#$%^&*!!!! Not just with the Hogg but with football in general. Can we please have just ONE week when we don't cop a ******* injury? Did Ross Lyon sell his soul to the Devil last summer or what? NOT A HAPPY CHAPPY.

Well done to GordonBlues who was a bit unlucky missing out on the minor premiership after suffering a costly loss to Hurts so Bad during the year. the chardonnays have also done well who like GordonBlues were elevated from Hogg Division I last season.

well, i'm not sure that my injured brigade will get me over the line this week - but happy to make the finals in the big boy division.
i get the hang of the game next year...perhaps

Apparently Chappy was keen to keep playing but they've sat him out. Saw Thompson on the Sunday Ch 7 footy show and I get the impression that if a spot in the finals for the Cats wasn't sewn up a few of these blokes would be playing through their injuries.

Bomber's just getting his blokes cherry ripe for September, 2nd is sewn up so what's the problem if you drop a couple of games? I'm betting there will be a 'divine' moment at the Cattery that miraculously heals pretty much the entire playing list in about 4 weeks.....

There's a story out today suggesting that St Kilda might be on the verge of resting star players as well

That would throw more spanners in the works of all out teams

I think Leisa has had bad luck on bad luck because there's a few donuts in her side

I checked because I play her too!

ie, you may not need to burn the trades. Write the 2 teams down side by side and see where you're likely to be at v her before you trade.

Some HUUUGE outs this week (p!ss off Ross Lyon, five outs and you still couldn't squeeze Maguire in there) that could well results in donuts across the board and have a massive effect on the outcome of the first round of finals. To trade or not to trade???

The worry on my St Kilda players is that Gilbert is now out for a second week and apparently Doc Larkin said last night that Goddard's injury is 2-3 weeks

If Nathan Bock pulls out I may need to trade however Leisa's Lovelies can't take a trick with this week's outs so I think I could get away with 2 donuts. I will be carrying at least one. Team at this stage:

B: Broughton, Drummond, Hurley
HB: Newman, Bock, Mackie
C: Pendlebury, Swan, Selwood
HF: Deledio, J Brown, Pavlich
F: Goodwin, Franklin, Harvey
R: McIntosh, Judd, Ablett (c)
Int: Donut, Kruezer, Kornes, Fevola
Emerg: Anthony, M Brown, Spencer
