If the aussies can get one more now, we are right on top! Altho i cant see any side winning this, moving forward, if we are able to bowl em out for a similar score to wat we posted it will do the world of good confidence wise to our players, and in particular our bowlers!
Mitch stepping up a bit certainly makes us a more potent line up.

Our next partnership in the bowling between Watto/siddle/hauritz have to bowl well and keep the pressure on ENG like Mitch and hilf have since the lunch break.

There won't be a result here but if Johnson comes away from this with some form it would be huge for us.

Also Flintoff "has a swagger about him" today apparently.

Hamstring injury coming up?

Ponting has taking a while to decide to use him..

When he saved the drive off his own bowling i was expecting him to be nursing a broken finger, every time he goes near the ball i just expect an injury.

That square drive from Prior was shot of the series for me so far. Superb batting. (Get Siddle off)

When you are saying that a bloke who averages 31 in Test cricket will destroy a bowler it says a lot about the bowler. I agree with what you said by the way.

They are just teeing off on him now. Why wouldn't you though. Most suburban cricketers would put those half volleys away.

That is what he is though. Not his fault he gets picked. The guy is a dud but keeps getting picked by clearly incompetant selectors.

I think I might put the pads on ... wouldn't mind coming in next against Watto.

Isn't he such a natural talent? You can almost hear him saying to himself as he comes in to bowl:

- OK, hold the ball like this
- start running in
- concentrate on the spot on the pitch
- make sure I put my left arm up high
- release the ball now
- follow through
