Why scrap Thebby, the ground is part of history of the West Torrens side, just like Woodville Oval is for Woodville.

The ground is a hole, and needs MAJOR work on it, more than what its worth! The money needed to upgrade it should be spent at woodville! Enough said!
Woodville Oval is the home Of WWT, always has been and always will be! ;)

Not to have a bye in the last minor round. programming to be fairer to all teams ie you play each team once before you play them a 2nd time. This season the Eagles played West & Central twice before we had a bye or played Norwood once.

You can't forget the history of our club. Whilst Woodville Oval is the home of Woodville West Torrens - thebby will always remain a part of our history and for that reason I would like to see us play at least 1 home game there each season.

Even though I was a West Torrens supporter I am more than happy to play all home games at Fortress Woodville .Seeing we lost Thebbie to the amo's we also lost a bargaining chip when Charles sturt council gets narky.

I would like a coach in 2010 who can have a game plan that beats that AFL running style game which has been adopted by a few SANFL clubs.
Plus a coach with a plan B .
Plus a coach that doesn't chase players to other SANFL or subruban clubs .

WWT isn't wasting money on Thebby. That is the SAAFL and the West Torrens Council. If you want Thebby to be up to standard speak to who I just stated.

At least we don't pay as much as a certain club does(who wears blue) to play and train on our ground.

We would like a coach who can help us win premeirships on a more regular basis.

Just curious, what would this achieve?

Think of the exposure the SANFL could get if they were to play a game at Wayville on a Friday night when the Royal Show is on...

It is a suggestion CK has been pushing for a while now and I think it would be great. I would think that it would probably work best with Sturt (of course) playing the Bays, thus ensuring a good turn out I reckon.

Out of all the suggestions so far, this one has the most going for it...

Same with more matches at Thebby Oval and more country matches.

The only suggestion I can add is this: Have express buses going to matches, running from the teams home ground (with the odd strategic stop here and there). Example: Starting at Elizabeth Oval, Finishing at (say) Glenelg Oval. Stopping only at Salisbury Int and Mawson Lakes Int.

I'm glad Ron is leaving, at least he won't have to deal with the grandstand sniper coaches anymore.

I would have thought he was past his use by date .
Perhaps a coach who is modern with his football tactics ;)
Perhaps a coach who is not either from Woodville or West Torrens but from WWTFC .That way all sides of the club would be happy .

What like zoning? Ammi stadium is about 10kms down the road if like that sort of football

Perhaps a coach who is not either from Woodville or West Torrens but from WWTFC .That way all sides of the club would be happy .

Believe he played a few seasons for WWTFC , if you can't support a coach due to his football history , please leave.

I am all for
1. country matches in each clubs zone
2. Double header matches for games that do not draw big crowds on their own
3. U18 games before ressies unless they are being used as curtain raisers for AFL matches
4. For the maggies to play ANZAC weekend for the first time in three years
5. WAFL v SANFL premiers would be great to see and a good promotion for both leagues

I would like the SANFL to instruct umpires that waving 'Play On' is OK.

Fantastic idea but...

Would it be viable? How many would use the service?

You're probably right, and there has been discussion on the ABC's decision to not show SANFL, VFL and WAFL games so I won't go there. In light of this, I have a second wish for 2010.

- someone who is a little bit technically minded to record the games, convert to .avi, and put them up on SAfooty for all to enjoy. ;)
