Does the term multicultural exclude indigenous culture? There seems to be a glaring ommission of numerous prominant aboriginal players :shock:

Yeah its weird isn't it, I would have thought that multi culture means many cultures not just those from beyond our shores. Its not non English speaking background round.

Agreed that is my understanding of the term. Maybe the figure that as we have other events that recognise indigenous players (at least the AFL do) that they had had their go. Still ignores the fact that they are not mainstream culture though!
