Manou to make his Test debut :lol: Haddin broke his finger just before the start of play. Great news for Manou. I am so pleased for him and well done England for allowing the late change.

Not great for Haddin though and whilst i am so pleased for Manou it's a shame for Haddin and i feel for him.

haddin broken finger. england give permission for team sheet to be changed as the brokn finger happened straight after the toss and team sheets were exchanged. Hopefully manou can make some runs and maybe force the selectors to keep him, and drop Hussey or North. GO YOU SOUTH AUSSIE.

In saying this, DISGRACEFUL DECISION not to play HUghes in my view. Why is hussey still playing ahead of hughes, when watson is not an opener, and hussey is out of form!

NFC Manou is a better keeper than Haddin. You'll struggle to find anyone who will disagree with that. Sure his batting is inconsistant but at least he will be tidy behind the stumps.

He was the worst keeper batsman in Australia for 5 or so years. Had one good year and now he finds himself playing for Aus, that's sad.

No he wasn't and regardless you pick the guy who is the best at the current time. That is Manou like it or not.

So finally Australia get a decision in our favour. No surprise it goes in favour of the most kissed on the d1ck player to ever play for our country. He was out yet given the benefit of that doubt. Last Test Hughes was not out yet still fired. FFS :twisted: :twisted:

That's one more good year he had compared with Ian Healy ... and that worked out okay.

As much as Manou is a better keeper than Haddin, Haddin is that much a better batsmen. ;)

Haddin = Gilchrist
Manou = Healy
