I love the arrogance, you get done by 7 goals and you still think you're a shoe-in for the finals.

It's calls like this, plus your comment after you had been beaten by Mt Barker, of all teams, "we'll still win the flag"....is your head painted on?!

You can't loose to a bottom three side, get flogged by the top side with only a couple guys out, yet maintain that the flag is all but yours. I'd love to see Hahndorf get knocked out in straight sets this finals series...heads would have to roll then!

If you haven't got Uraidla as favourite you're kidding yourself.

Just got over the pies? 42 points is quite a margin for a top of the table clash, you boys have a long way to go if your "still gonna win the flag".

uraidla will get into the grand final its just who will meet them, would have to be out of lofty and hahndorf, ive got my money on lofty as there a team that performs well under the pressure of finals, blackwood a bit of the mark after just getting over the line to ironbank and without gigney kicking 8+ i cant see them beating anyone except for onkas who might aswell not even bother rocking up for the finals

Blackwood slim hope for finals after just getting over the line against Ironbank, yet Mt Lofty is your choice after getting pumped by Ironbank by 7 goals. You are making sense Runner man. Quality post full of common sense. End of the day I think it shows the Hills Central competition is as healthy as it has ever been & it is good to see some of the upsets. Uraidla should be the favourites no doubt about it, Hahndorf should be the other team in GF with the side they have but they can be their own worst enemys sometimes. I'm thinking a Uri Vs Lofty GF & Uraidla to win by 6 goals 4 points roughly. Good luck the rest of the year everyone.

i guess its better then getting beaten by ironbank, ironbanks average age is about 13. hahndorf are a shoe in for the finals, mayb not the GF, but for finals they are, and if u would love to see hahndorf go out in straight sets, i would love for hahndorf to spank the living bejesus out of candy stripes on loftys "hallowed turf" to claim the courier cup!!!

You're right silky, it is better than getting spanked by ironbank, but you won't hear too many devils claiming the flag is already in the bag. If you Germans don't win the flag this year, what will come of the side next year? Will there be enough coin to continue charge? Cooper won't play on for much longer surely

Devlies getting some numbers on the park now though, so it'll be an interesting few games to come. Jagging 3rd spot would be superb. A shame Ironbank couldn't get over the line against the Woods!

Have the wheels fallen off at Hahndorf? Didn't they load up this season?

Will it be the Candy stripes vs the McLeans and Eberts (Uraidla) in the GF?

I think people are riding off Hahndorf far too quickly. I think they've had a few out the last couple of weeks? Whether they get them back or not i'm not sure but if they do they'll be Blackwood and Mt Lofty comfortably.

my sheep station is still on U's though to take it out.

Uraidlas team at the moment currently has:
-3 Eberts
-3 Coxs
-2 Mcleans
-2 Browns

Any other clubs coming close to half a team being made up by four families?

fair call about claiming the flag, but i PERSONALLY think the black white black and white will win the flag. i think uraidla will play off in the big dance with hahndorf

and about cooper, he still has a few more years left in him i reckon, hes couragous and as hard as molten rock, and is exactly what a coach wants in a player especially in finals. and if hahndorf dont win the flag this year they would have underachieved massively, i reckon the blokes hahndorf have recruited are club blokes and will stick around for a long time, but with trent "bottom less pockets" shoreland in charge i think hahndorf will b all over a flag very soon

Chattin to a mate from Birdwood. Apparently shot with injuries. It's a shame. Their earlier form looked good. I guess this is why good depth tends to be slightly more wanted by a coach rather than a handfull of talent to win finals.

Hopefully next year for more rooster improvement!

Didn't know that Browns were locals. Did they play junior footy there or move to the town?
