hahndorf players who did not play vs barker: nathan johnson, ryan colman, ryan thyer, aaron bishop, tate kaesler and scott purling. all first 18 players and 4 are pivotal to how the team is structured. still no excuse for the performance, barker wanted the footy more and caught the maggies napping. probably the kick up the ass hahndorf needed i think

Have it from a reliable source that Harndorf coach is gonna run the lads through a very tough couple of weeks on the track and saturdays scores aren't of any real concern, so as long as they secure a top 3 finish, which would be a certainty,

Bit of everything mate. Onkas played well. We didn't. We lack the depth to cover a couple of quality players who were OS. As soon as we fell behind it seemed like we weren't interested.

Will all change this week. Of the top 3 sides we always seem to have the closest encounters with Blackwood, so should be a good game.

Uraidla were impressive and their forwards must have been licking their lips when they saw Josh Russell run towards them. I bet a couple even cleared a little room in there bags at half time so they could pack him in after the match... The poor bastard must have sore arms from continually raising them on the mark after losing near every marking contest. Surely hahndorf will bring back Pfitzy for the finals

Full credit to Onkas on the weekend... just were that bit better than us and deserve the 5th spot. Was a tough, hard game. Was impressed with Onkas' pressure on the ball carrier, made it tough for us to get clean possession.

Still looking forward to some great years in the Central division with our younger brigade of Friend, Ancell and Cannon all playing great footy the last few weeks. Also got to play Tommy Matters and Jock Cameron from the colts in the A's and they more than held their own. The future is looking bright at the Velodrome...

Also, why was Nick Smart playing B's? seems a bit above that level in my opinion.

Nice odds for lofty, i would put some coin on them. 5 or 6 quality players to still return to their squad, there looking dangerous they are the team with the finals experience too. I would also load up on there B grade looking mighty strong.
