I saw it and was amazed by the incident.
What was Skipwoth thinking? I don't think he'll be trying any of that on the Bulldogs this week.

Did the shoulder injury occur after the tackle or as he was rammed in the ground?

Looked horrible, and he'll have to live with it.

Interestingly, I was listening to the radio commentary on 891 and in the third or last quarter I heard a spectator yell out "got a hard ball yet Skipworth?".

As a neutral Doggy supporter i watched both incidents on TV the Cooper one nothing i it just a clumsy atempt to stop the player with the ball deserved a 50 mtr penalty.

As for skippy an absolute gutless and cowardly act i for one have lost all respect for this player.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF !!!!

Also by chance i was at my brothers for lunch this arvo when a caller raised this issue with Cornsey on 5AA and was cut off towards the end.

Therfore i have sent them an e mail which reads ;

Mr Cornes by chance i heard your view and Mr Ebert's response to this incident when a caller phoned your station and in your ignorance towards this issue, you, towards the end of this call cut him off because you really did not want to hear the truth.

How can you defend someone when you did not see the incident ?????? by Mr Ebert's tone of voice who actually saw the vision i could sense he really did not want to make any negative comments.

Cornsey stop protecting your precious Crows players, go see the vision then make comment.

As a neutral supporter i watched the game on TV and it captured the incident very well indeed, to do what he did after this tackle was very cowardly and gutless for a player of his calibre and ability.

I suggest in future before making comments, actually watch the vision like everyone else has, it is obvious you are out of touch with SANFL footy.

So i suggest in future you research topics a little better you can actually do this by logging on to a couple of excellent sites which are :

http://WWW.FOOTYSA.COM
http://WWW.SAFOOTY.COM

At least on these two sites SANFL footy purists have a real say with no censorship.

Haave you got the intestinal fortitude to admit you were wrong ????

Apache, the caller was I, & yes they did cut me off, as "outing" a Crows player as a thug is not on their agenda.
The lame responses I got were
- he's not that type of player (I offered proof)
- you're over reacting (how can they comment when they didn't see the incident?)
- no, you're wrong (I offerfed to e-mail pics in)

At the end of the day, they weren't interested.
Perhaps some SANFL followers out there might like to bombard the switchboard at 4pm tomorrow night, & re-iterate what I've said.
Cue Central supporters, as it is a huge opportunity to get back at Graham Cornes...

Don't be too hard on Skippy, he might cry again, like he did when he first got delisted by the Crows.

Typical to see all you rooster fans over reacting to a nothing incident. The clothesline on cooper was much worse but do you see us bitch and moan about it. Both incidents had no impact on the result. Go you mighty Eags.

Why would that be you ask?
Because Skipworth's a CROWS player, & the fairest player to ever pull on a footy jumper....

What else do you expect?

If it was a Port player I know exactly what they would have said.

Probably right, he wont have anything to answer for. Still I would like to know what he was thinking. Maybe this week against the dogs he should try something new. Putting his head over the ball when a angry bulldog is coming at him or get one of gowans in a arm lock and see what happens.
