What is the "capacity" of the oval at Wayville at showtime?

They do that already mate. (Well every red coat whoops make that blue coat or whatever it is these days I take the kids by does anyway, when I drive into grounds they always make sure they know many kids I have in the back for counting the crowd, similarly when we walk through a gate I notice they click the counter over for the kids as well as adults)

They don't do everyone. This Saturday I will get to Woodville at about half time and I will probably will not be included in the figures, I wasn't included in the figures when there were triple header at Noarlunga, Richmond or when Port played at Woodville.

Courtesy of StrayDog on an old thread - I stand corrected on dimensions outside the trotting track:

"Yeah, minimum legal playing surface width is 110 metres (Norwood just scrapes in). Fence to fence, Wayville is 125 metres at its narrowest, so grassing the flanks would put the playing surface comfortably within requirements (say, 115 metres).

Lengthways, the fences might need to be moved in at at least one end IMHO. The current fence to fence length of 215 metres is 30 metres longer than the maximum legal playing surface length."
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

I would say on 40 -50% of the time kids are not counted and there have been times when adults havent ben. I make a point to watch as I have been to some games where the crowds have looked more than recorded. I was at Norwood oval one night and there were 2 oficials and there was no way they were clicking .

Yeah I too take special notice since it came up a couple of years ago. Every time in that period Ive noticed they've counted my family of 4 every time. They do it very subtlely some times which lot of people wouldn't notice. Anyway the point I did make is kids are treated exactly like adults when it comes to crowd numbers and aren't ignored like some may have thought as mine have been counted every time. If they miss some kids then they also miss some adults, there's no difference.

I'd like to see a 'No Logo' round, where the guernseys are free of any advertising. Sponsors would obviously have to concede to this but perhaps it could be incorporated as part of a heritage round.

What if the SANFL randomly generate the list of fixtures for 2010?

Damn, they already did that this year.

I would like to see a TV commercial promting a big game for the week. EG A friday clash or just a particular match of te round. This weekends clash would be an example betwen Glenelg & Centrals. Really pump it up rather than some of the weak ones we have had.

I've always said the perfect SANFL season would be characterised by the following two results:
1. Glenelg finishing anywhere above South
2. South finishing second

My wish list for 2010 would be for Glenelg not to get any games at Glenelg under lights, not 2010 or any time into the future.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting
