Booking the wrong annual leave date and having to work the day after my birthday :(

I was supposed to book Monday the 10th of August and somehow I thought the date was the 11th, so I booked the 11th, which is bloody TUESDAY! :?

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :evil:

Not on Sunday night, but planning on hitting it fairly hard* during the day.

I tried yesterday but that day is already booked out for Annual leave - dammit!

I think I'll do most of my celebrations on the Saturday night/Sunday morning. We've got a home game, so I'll milk the birthday drinks at the footy club first, hahaha!

Not sure what I'll do Sunday, maybe nurse the hangover with mum's home cooking =p~

Arranging a lift home so I can attend a work lunch for a guy leaving and have a few drinks only then to have to endure the 5AA afternoon sports show on the radio of the designated drivers car .Holy mother of christ has anyone hear it ?it's friggin deploreable :oops:
e.g. Cornes asks Adam Kingsley " Do you think you have enough defenders for the showdown"?.......few seconds of awkward silence................AK then replies for about 3 min without being interupted by either of the hosts about how he thinks they have have made the right selection yada yada yada............Cornes then replies" well actually I was being sarcastic you seem to have a very defensive team named"... awkward silence for a few secs..... :lol: :lol:
No change of expression or tone by Cornes at all just that usual mono-tone drone when asking the question.
Only in Adelaide :oops:

well when they try and up the rent when it comes to renewal its simple, tell them to put the insulation in or keep the rent the same, if they dont do either then look elsewhere.

we did that and they kept the rent the same. we never had a heater for the best part of 18months, just used the electrical small ones, that are probly expensive to run and the day we moved out into the new purchased house they decided to put in a reverse cycle system for new tenants!!! apparently it was only a cheap system.
