The missus will be picking me up from the Ashford ;)

I was going to write that's not right, someone else will have to because she's been with me all week but we need to get back on topic.

Sportsbet

Glenelg $1.65 Central $2.20 for what it's worth.

Thornton has the following odds:
1.75 GLENELG -8.5@2.00 2.30 5.00 25/7/09 2.00 PM
2.00 CENTRAL DISTRICT -------------- 2.50 6.00 GLIDEROL STADIUM

Thus, a Centrals victory in Thornton's eyes is an upset - having said that, they do not necessarily have 'football knowledge'.

Ah, that's right, she has been at your place washing your car hasn't she  ;)

I asked the same thing about Meyer and Logan as well dedja...

I know Logan had the flu last week, not sure if he is over it yet and didn't Meyer miss the Port Magpies game because he had some dental work done ?

Gee, they're good odds for Centrals. They won't start that short tomorrow I'd think...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yes, that's why I asked because I didn't see an answer.

How would I know anyway ... here I was saying that Macca wouldn't get back in the seniors this year and now he's in the squad of 22 (good pick up BP) for tomorrow.

Have both the Crows and Power trimmed their squads yet? Cause I guess it means that Douglas and Logan could fall out of that and potentially line up, and would think Meyer would play for the bays, if not crook or injured??
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

But will he play tomorrow at Gliderol Stadium or being the first named emergency, will the Crows request he stay on standby should someone pull out of the Adelaide line-up on Sunday morning ?

If the Bays are switched on and don't fall prey to " knuckling " tactics, they'll win, but Flag favourites Centrals by 41 pts :(

for what it's worth, We have been playing crap for weeks, we don't have that many injuries either. It's a carbon copy of last year, farting around on the field, fumbling, kicking over heads or just short of a teammate, playing one or maybe two quarters of good footy per game. Dunno about the bays, don't watch them but their form is much much better. We are playing at the bay & haven't won there for a while now. I think that we will get smashed, which is a pity because, in my opinion, it is crucial that we win. Lose & we drop to third & won't get back up either, as $turd have a far superior percentage & are unbeatable at the moment. Glenelg by 55 points.
