What about Tom Logan, he hasn't been included in the Power's 25 man squad...

Does he have the flu as well or will he line up for the Bays this weekend ?

By the looks of it Ian Callinan comes into the side, no one has been dropped as yet. Justin Hardy is playing his first game back from injury in the reserves.

I'd be vey surprised if he plays seniors again this year unfortunately, unless Rubbers wants him to upset the Gowans again. ;)

He has only played a couple of league games this year hasn't he dedja ???

If he is not getting a game in the seniors, is he a chance to move to another club or go back home to Victoria next season ?

Justin has been offered a position as player coach in country victoria in 2010. I am of the belief he is keen to take up this offer. (actually had a couple of offers but one in particular has taken his fancy). He will complete his role with the GFC as development officer at years end and head home.

Dogs League Team

FF: Ian Callinan Daniel Schell Scott Dutschke
HF: Chad O'Sullivan Matthew Westhoff Chris Gowans
C: Kyle Jenner James Gowans Brayden O'Hara
HB: Paul Thomas Andrew Hayes Richard Cochrane
B: Eddie Sansbury Yves Sibenaler Heath Lawry
R: Jason Mackenzie Ryan Williams Matthew Slade
Int: Jonathon Griffin, Trent Goodrem, Louis Hadden & Lee Spurr
In - Callinan

Reserves Squad
From: Allocca, Barmby, Brading, Christmann, Dunne, Foldesdy, Frail, Giles, Habel, Hannath, Hardy, Henderson, Hynes, Jenner, Matson, Menzel, Nason, Porter, Reichert, Seccafien, Switala, Vater, L. Westhoff, White.

Interesting with Jenner named in both league and reserves I am assuming he will miss out for Callinan if everyone is fit.

Great to see Hardy back from injury WHUFC but interesting no Charles Slattery named in the reserves.

Good to see wingnut back in the side. Let's hope this time the hammy is right before he comes back.
Interestingly, he played all of 2007; and up to the injury in the Anzac Day game of 2008 without fail. Since that one injury he's been in and out of the side several times, can't seem to get 100% right for prolonged periods of time (hence not as damaging as 2007).

It'll surprise me if we see Ash Duncan again this season. I'm as big a fan of Ash's as Big Phil, but the hammy is not a good situation.

I txtd one of the admin last night and he didn't know why it was down. I'm sure nai is onto it. Maybe a phishing (the technobots can correct me on that) attack or problems with the server given how much the site has grown in the past 12 months (members wise and traffic).

The overflowing bandwagon is haveing an effect in more ways than one down at Brighton Rd.

It's down again ... I think tthe server needs more than just a reboot as the site has been flakey for at least a couple of weeks now.

And it's down again ... wish my missus would go down as often.

Just a question mainly Glenelg fans who are probably closer to the scene.

If Port Power fail to make the finals this season, do they think Josh Carr will continue to play in the SANFL finals for Glenelg or will he retire immediatly. The other option being will he call an early end to his season so he can have a rest before doing a full pre season with the Power the following season.

Probably depends on his body, he has always seemed to enjoy playing for us (in the early days he racked up quite a few games for us) probably a 50/50 call

I will add to that, if Josh Carr was to tell Glenelg that he was only going to play for them as long as the Power were still alive, would you want him in the league team.

Yes. Carr would be fantastic for us. Unlike some Power bloke who got dropped (read Burgoyne), Carr at least tries and gives a effort. If he had a chance to settle in at the Bay and learn the game plan he'd be an excellent fit.

That would be great for the SANFL competition if he did, not so great for the bays rivals though.

No. I'd only want blokes who were in it for the Bays jumper.

However I believe Carr would be in it for the jumper, because he does put in a good effort when he dons the black and gold. It would be very uncharacteristic of him if he claimed he would play only while the Power was still running. whufc's question is purely academic.

That side has an ominous strength to it on every line and also at this time of year. Can Dogs fans confirm how far this side is from full strength?
