This is nothing new. Stuff ups with club songs have been happening for years at Prospect. I actually am struggling to remember when there last wasn't a stuff up with the songs.

What's the deal with the "grandstand clapping department"? I haven't heard about this. I'm picturing thermus's and knitting needles being used as weapons   ;)

Have a look Rod at the North V West review topic ... quite funny really.

Its entertaining. If you ever need a good laugh come out to Prospect and watch us put on a show that resembles a cross between the keystone cops and the three stooges.
Except for our crap brand of footy things are progressing well on the ground though which is what is most important.

It has nearly gotten that bad. i heard there has been talk of hiring extra security to seperate the two groups, confiscation of knitting needles etc. i believe Wedgie can confirm, he seems to be up on the whole situation. he was the first to bring the saga to the public attention. ;) i believe another march down main north road has been suggested too.....

Something needs to be done though, if the clapping saga is allowed to drag out it could start to impact on field performances, which is the real worry.

You're getting carried away Tip, I only suggested a march from one grand stand to the other, not down Main North Rd. The walking frames with a full thermas can only take you so far. ;)

sorry my bad. it has been a while since i had an update on the issue :D (and i have a habit of blowing things out of proportion!)

anyway, back to the game at hand, somehow i think (hope?) it will be a close game like last time these two met. (well close result anyway). it will be a real test to see if north can stop the up and down trend we have forged ourselves so far this season. if we can win it will only be the second side in the five we have managed to defeat! if we dont win i think we will still play finals but only be making up the numbers.

so after all that i have no idea how it will go! not much help am i?

PROSPECTIVE recruits are for Eagle ears only my friend , not on here ; unfortunately as Mickyj can tell you only too well , these top notch names come up every year from the hierarchy and rarely materialise ! The worry is that its just a ploy to keep disgruntled fans happy while the seasons going down the toilet fast . Maybe ? We know there is never any plan B , ala Skipworth for example , 2 years running . Ive been told that we are on coarse to break our record for being under the salary cap , again this year ....... Philistines ! Maybe some one can exsplain the logic of this .......... Matt1 , EHL , CD OR Columbo ? Fuller should not get another contract because he has put up with that crap from the board , especially after 06 ! In our dreams , do you think if L . Matthews came to our club he would put up with that sort of an anchor around his neck ? Certain elements of our club are weak and not in it to be no. 1 every year !

CD recruits members not players holden mate ;)
I'll Call oval ave Fortress Woodville until the cows come home I want my CLUB which is also your club to be that damn arrogant .Personal thoughts only on Fortress Woodville (Sorry Snappy tom and Holden ).

To me its just like our young CEO telling the SANFL we will only wear our Yellow jumper when it clashes when we play away and not at Fortress Woodville .And that was well over due .
Speaking of the young CEO does he know you Holden he knows me and chats with me just ask Matt1 as does at least one no its two board members!!!Thats enough name droping guys .

I have no idea who these guys are holden until they are signed sealed and playing at fortress Woodville they are just a pipe dream.

My thoughts on this weeks game Eagles to come out and do to North what they did to Port (in the last 3 quarters that is).
Eagles to win at fortress woodville.
MickyJ will lose his voice at Fortress Woodville !!!And I will lose it trying to help the guys win this game.this is the game they must win to stay in the five !!!

I can vouch for that! I've seen Micky talking to them all, including the CEO on the weekend.

Micky's getting his message through, just as I am trying to. Instead of on here, my suggestion Holden would be for you to contact them. They seem up for a chat much more than the old guard was used to. As you have rightly mentioned Holden no one at our club is complainging with young Davies as CEo, I am just not sure about a fresh new coach because I think our game plan is good.

Who are the recruits? Get me excited Holden please!

If you are not sure if you are confident or not, I'm pretty sure you're not confident Mickyj! ;)

Hopefully we don't have to put Kenny to Full Forward this week as every time we do we are in trouble. Mind you, wouldn't be against starting him there with Miles/Hill and Hier in the side. Even Hentschel could be played at CHB.

I'd drop Daniel and Cheep from the named 23 man squad. Leave Goldsworthy as the goal sneak Forward Pocket/Crumber and rotate Symmons/Petrenko/Banner/Sumner through there as well.

The key player to stop up forward is White (I'd give that job to Hier) and as usual it will come down to who can get control of the midfield. Really hope for a sustained 4 quarter effort this week. Has been frustrating to watch the Eagles be non-competitive for parts of games lately.

I'd keep cheep drop Daniel are Trent and Luke ready for the league ?
And if they are Banner could drop out .
Will Davis get a call up for the Crows ?
Will Shirley play for the Crows ?

word is Salter will be back for us.......

Hentchell most likely to play League which allows us to switch him and Mcgregor back or forward.....

both up back for me with Salter coming in......

cannot drop Cheep or Banner......

I reckon Heir may take the shwarzteneger......

Mcgregor or Hentchell take White.......

Eagles must get their hands on the ball first and win the 50/50s..........

Should be a ripper of a game......

Sounds ok ccl, with Salter back if that's the case. First to the ball and a 4 quarter desire and effort to win is the key of course!

Too hard to call, Eags just.

We need a tall fast defender, last we Schell killed us, we look soooo slow back there.

I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of J Wright for the Eags.
He turns the ball over way too often and his decision making is very slow.
I would have dropped him infavour of a kid. There is no way he is in our best side when all players are fit.

If not used forward, would you leave McGregor to take whoever plays CHF for North? I don't like seeing McGregor at Full Back for 2 reasons; 1, he is not a great Full Back and 2, he is a great CHB and reads and sets up the play very well from the half back line. More reason why Hier is such an important player for us as no one else can hold a decent full forward.

This game has a similar feel to the Port game a few weeks ago. Need to win to hold our spot in the five.

Think this one might just be the close game of the round...

Alleway out for North is a blow but gives Daniel Stewart a good chance to come back in...

At this stage, I think the Roosters by 4 points...
