This is what every young boy dreams about isn't it. Final day of an Ashes test match at Lords. Australia needs you and you have the chance to play a hero's innings.

No matter what Clarke or Haddin do in any other ODI or Tee Ball match, if they can get us through tonight they will be National heroes and nothing will ever surpass this effort, for courage, dermination and heart.

In saying that they will probably both get out in the first two overs.

Could Johnson go from bowling hack to batting hero in one day, it would make a hell of a movie.

How did Hads get out?

I know you can't judge it on one game, but it's tight tense situations like this that allrounders can justify that status, a nice whirlwind 90 odd from Mitch again would be nice.

Poms have picked up some serious umpiring optimism...last over someone yelled "catch" when it went a foot outside Mitch's bat.

Probably fair enough given yesterday's performance????

Broad instead of Anderson. A win for us on form.

It's not 0% yet, just damn close to it.

SET <eternal optimist> = ON

If only we can see off Freddie then we're still a chance.
Positive sign that Rudi called a no ball when Mitch was plum LBW.
If we lose another wicket then the rain will come.

I just don't rate Broad. Anderson's bowled much better lines so far.

And then he nearly picks up Mitch...

That's equisite from Clarke. Those who think he is a frontrunner are being shown up here. What a wonderful player.
