The lads are understandably angry tonight
Its been probably the most disgracefiul umpiring favouring one team Ive seen
But shit happens
Im of the opinion that AU has had the better end of decisions in the last decade
A few years ago
Holding [sook] complained about a WI tour of Australia and counted up to 20 poor decisions favouring AU

Most recently
INDIA ripped off in AU last tour, and they [sooks] wanted to go home
SA got a rotten ride with the 3rd umpiring referred decisions in the SA tour by AU last series

But to get so many poor decisions in one test is hard to take

Its bad enough for umps to make poor decisons
But the inconsistency of BOPARAGATE and HUGHESGATE decisions was what has set off most SAFOOTY cricket posters tonight

The same Strauss who claimed there was confusion when he sent the 12th man out twice and the physio as well because he thought Anderson spilt a drink on his gloves or that he thought one of the batsmen needed the fat f*cks help? Strauss is a dirty cheating piece of crap.

If Strauss genuinely thought that was a clean catch he needs to lay off whatever drugs he's been taking far too much of.

TIME WASTING
India did it in AU last series
England did it this series
And Im thinking that AU will do the same if 9 down in the future ?????????????????????????????
Did STRAUSS cheat ??? YES more than NO
Did STRAUSS show bad sportsmanship YES

As for that catch
Im still not convinced he cheated at the time
Im sure during the lunch break when he saw the replay he would be feeling very uneasy
Strauss might get a short term victory in this Test
But the long term ramifications could be haunting for some time to come
Im sure if Greg Dyer is watching he would know what Strauss is up for

STRAUSS CHEAT ????
BAD SPORTSMAN YES

Strauss and Dyer comparisson is a good one. Strauss had his fingers to feel it though. Dyer was crucified over his situation. I still maintain that Strauss is a cheat and he knows it.

I'll settle it.

Strauss is a cheat!

Clarke moves to 99*

What ever happens, he has batted extremely well. looked GREAT from ball one.

Touch wood that this partnerships continues until stumps (tomorrow) ;)

AU 5/259
HUGHES NOT OUT 17
KATICH NOT OUT 6
HUSSEY NOT OUT 27
CLARKE NOT OUT 100
HADDIN NOT OUT 49

263 needed for victory
Good to see the greatest right handed BATTING keeper in Australian history make runs again

Now i no our spare batsman on the tour is Watson, where is his injury at??

even though hussey was NOT OUT as stated by MAL for 27, is there any chance they will drop him for the next test?

Is there any chance, with Haddins so called 'out of form keeping' altho i dont see it that he is keeping so badly, that Manou could replace Hussey, haddin bats at 6 and Manou to keep???

Very out there thought, but just wanting to no everyone elses thoughts on that?

Before we start talking about the next Test, this one isn't finished yet.

Still an absolute long shot, but we have some chance of pulling this off with 235 to go with 5 wickets in hand.

If this pair can last until stumps then who knows what may happen tomorrow?

refusing to talk about what will happen this test. if i get any sort of hope about this innings from clarke and haddin, i will no doubt be p***ed off again about everything from this test. Umpiring, bowling, batting, fielding. EVERYTHING.
however if i dont get my hopes up and look at the next test, i will be over the moon if/when we win ;)

OK then, I'll play your silly game ;)

Mr Cricket and Haddo are safe. The only possible change I can see is Stuart Clark for Mitch but I think even thats unlikely.

Im not saying anything about Haddin being dropped. He is 100% safe.

I cant see Clark replacing Mitch. THey wont play clark and siddle IMO. Maybe lee for Mitch??

Manou's keeping is obviously and well known FAR SUPERIOR then Haddin's. With Hussey out of form (albeit getting into some form until todays horror decision) i thought it was worth the discussion.

I personally dont think Mitch will be dropped for the next test, however if he bowls like he has been next test, i think he will be dropped.

Muller > Bopara

Cant bat, Cant bowl, Cant field!

I really dont no how this bloke is playing test cricket. his fielding is as bad as anyone in test cricket in the world IMO.

Leave Bopara alone, he's doing a great job for the Aussies ;)

I hear what you are saying about Mr Cricket, but even though he's not in great form, I can't see them replacing him with inexperience at this level (ie Manou).

Clark would be far more dangerous the Lee IMO, but I think Punter will not want to drop Mitch though, even though he is down on confidence. Amazingly Mitch is bowling crap but still getting wickets, but if can find his straps then I think he can turn this series on its head.

Bad light (with the lights on? :? ) ... who cares, fantastic effort for Pup and Haddo.

209 runs to get in a day is very achievable, but with 5 wickets down, a great finish beckons.
