The worst bit is that Strauss was asked if his caught it and he claimed he did ...

F***ing Rudi refers the third umpire yesterday and not today.

So both batsmen were not out ... but unfortunately, that's cricket.

And you know the irony there is a clearer picture on TV for that catch than the one of Hauritz.

Bloody Rudi Koertzen!!!

That's the most ridiculous thing about it. Rudi is an absolute f*ckwit. He has gone beyond hopeless. It should be the goal of the Australian team for the rest of this match to smash the ball back at the old dopey c*nt and try to take him out. He is an absolute blight on the game. Amazingly he used to be a good umpire

Correct. He knew damned well he never caught it cleanly. As I keep saying, it amuses me how other countries look down their nose at Australian cricketers when they are every bit as bad, if not worse.

Exactly, Hauritz's looked more out than that did.

Will an Australian team official burst into the English rooms a la an English one did at Adelaide in 1998 when the third umpire (Taufel) gave Atherton out caughtt by Taylor of warne when it was unclear if the ball carried....

Hmm....

Mind you we have been the leading protagonists for umpires taking the word of the fielder, after the incidents involving Slater at Kolkota and Langer at Adelaide in 2002-03.

Didn't the Indians do that too with that West Indian ump who's name escapes me?

Wrong MAL, it's much different to claim a catch that wasn't there ... there is no way he wouldn't have known that he grassed it.

Remember this is the man that wilfully tried to waste time in the last 10 mins of the last test.

Strauss, the cricket world has seen your dishonesty mate.

Yep, you are correct AH. Strauss is a cheat and a liar. His blatant lying when questioned over the 12th man and the obese physio running on the field in the first Test was embarrassing. I used to respect the guy but not now.

Irrespective lads
Dont matter that Strauss claimed the catch
Sometimes as a cricketer you think you have made the catch
Strauss can say YES NO DUNNO
All 3 answers should be followed by the Umpires saying LETS ASK THE 3RD UMP

The 3rd umpire would then adjudicate NOT OUT
