TNA Victory Road PPV Results

TNA Knockouts Title:
-Tara (c) vs. Angelina Love
Love is out first with The Beautiful People. The Knockout's champion Tara is out next, with a spdier in a jar. The announcers explain how Tara became champion, etc. Bell sounds and our first match of the night is underway. Tara is in control early on as the crowd starts to get behind her. "Let's go Tara" chant from the live audience. Tara with a standing moonsault for a pinfall attempt but only gets two. Velvet Sky tries to interfere, but Tara knocks her out of the ring. Love grabs Tara from behind and Madison Rayne tries spraying her in the eyes, but Tara moves and the spray hit Love in the eyes. Tara rolls up Love but the referee was distracted with Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky. Love starts to mount some offense now. Love with a pin attempt on Tara, who kicks out at two, but the referee made the three-count anyways and handed the title to Love.
Winner and NEW TNA Knockouts champion: Angelina Love
After The Match: Crooked Ref, Tara & The Spider
Tara complained after the match, but the ref (Slick Johnson) didn't see it. He was clearly in on it, for the record. Tara hit Johnson and then hit Love with the Widow's Peak. She takes out the spider, but Sky and Rayne pull Love out of the ring. Tara puts the spider on Slick Johnson instead.
Backstage: Kurt Angle Threatens The Main Event Mafia
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is in the Main Event Mafia locker room. Angle told Borash and the viewers at home not to expect a quality PPV main event match. He claimed he's simply going to maul Mick Foley. Angle then told all of the other Main Event Mafia members that they had to win by pinfall or submission in their respective matches tonight, or they would be fired from the Main Event Mafia.
-A video package for the Matt Morgan vs. Daniels match airs.
Singles Match:
-Matt Morgan vs. Daniels
Jamie Tucker makes his TNA debut as referee here. Morgan is using his power while Daniels is trying to out-quick him here in the early goings. Daniels is getting his offense in, but can't get Morgan off his feet until a split-legged moonsault onto the floor. Daniels with more high-flying moves to keep control of the bout. Daniels is selling his leg as injured. Daniels tries the BME but grabs his leg and falls down in pain. Morgan hits the Carbon Footprint followed by the Hellevator for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Matt Morgan
Backstage: Dr. Stevie & Daffney
Backstage we see Jeremy Borash with Dr. Stevie and Daffney. Stevie talks about dominating Abyss mentally. "I own Abyss. Mind, body and soul." As Stevie is walking away, Daffney says she loves him. Stevie says "I know" as the segment ends.
No DQ Match:
-Dr. Stevie vs. Abyss
Stevie is wearing a new outfit, which features hospital scrubs with the words "Professional Therapist" written on the shirt. Abyss also has a new look with different black-colored ring gear. He has a jacket and hood on for his entrance. Stevie brought a baton with him as a weapon. Abyss is fighting off the attack from Stevie. Stevie runs away from Abyss, into the crowd, and Abyss proceeds to maul him in the crowd. Stevie is bleeding now as Abyss continues to beat him up in the crowd-area. Abyss pulls Stevie's shirt off. Abyss grabs a chair and wedges it into the corner. He slams Stevie into it. Abyss hits Stevie with the Shock Treatment back-breaker. Abyss with a pinfall attempt but decides himself to stop the count at two to punish him some more. Daffney runs out with a taser gun and climbs into the ring. Lauren comes out next and pulls Daffney off the apron. Stevie ends up with the taser while Abyss was busy talking to Lauren. Stevie and Abyss run towards each other and Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam. Abyss picks up the taser and uses it on the chest of Dr. Stevie. Abyss covers him for the pin and victory. Abyss and Lauren celebrate after the match.
Winner: Abyss
Backstage: Mick Foley w/ AJ Styles & Beer Money, Inc.
Backstage, Mick Foley is with AJ Styles and Beer Money, Inc. giving them a pep-talk for their matches tonight against Main Event Mafia members. Foley said he hopes they win so he isn't the lone defender of TNA Wrestling.
-A video package airs for the Team 3D vs. British Invasion match.
IWGP Tag-Team Titles:
-Team 3D vs. The British Invasion
Brother Ray holds up an American flag. The match begins. British Invasion controls the first several minutes of the match. Team 3D makes their comeback. They hit the "wassup" spot on Magnus. The tables are requested and out they come. The tables weren't ever used, but Team 3D ultimately hit them with the 3D for the pinfall victory.
Winners: Team 3D
After The Match: Kiyoshi & Sheik Abdul Bashir Attack
After the match, Kiyoshi and Sheik Abdul Bashir hit the ring and attack Team 3D. They set up the table but Team 3D makes the comeback. They throw Kiyoshi out of the ring and proceed to put Sheik Abdul Bashir through the tables.
Backstage: Lauren Interviews Slick Johnson
Backstage, Lauren interviews referee Slick Johnson about the mishap in the TNA Knockouts title earlier tonight. He takes full responsibility for the mistake and says he'll do everything in his power to get Tara a rematch at the appropriate time.
Jenna Morasca vs. Sharmell
Morasca is out with Awesome Kong. Sharmell comes out next with Sojourner Bolt. Sharmell is wearing an evening gown. Lots of involvement with Kong and Bolt. The finish came when Bolt was knocked off the ropes and Kong missed catching her. She hit the ringside floor hard as Kong hit Sharmell. Jenna put her crotch over Sharmell's face and pinned her for the victory.
Winner: Jenna Morasca
After The Match: Awesome Kong Has Had Enough
After the match, Morasca is bossing around Awesome Kong relentlessly until Kong saw enough and slapped her.
Backstage: Jeremy Borash Interviews Kevin Nash
Backstage we see Kevin Nash with Jeremy Borash. Nash claims he's going to win the TNA Legends title tonight.

TNA Legends Title:
-AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Nash
Early on, Nash catches Styles coming into the ring with a big boot that knocks him to the floor. Nash goes for the powerbomb early but Styles escapes. Styles takes control of the action for several minutes. He hits the Pele kick for a near-fall that the crowd thought was the finish. AJ goes for a springboard over the referee's head, but Nash catches him in mid-air with the chokeslam and pins him to win the match and the title.
Winner and NEW TNA Legends champion: Kevin Nash
Backstage: Lauren Catches Slick Johnson & Madison Rayne
Backstage, Lauren is in the women's locker room looking for Tara. Slick Johnson comes out of the shower with his shirt off. He claims he was getting his spider bite looked at. He ran off in a hurry. Madison Rayne comes out next adjusting her top. She looks at Lauren and tells her to mind her own business and keep her mouth shut.
-A video package airs for the Beer Money, Inc. vs. Booker T & Scott Steiner match.
TNA Tag-Team Titles:
-Beer Money, Inc. (c) vs. Booker T & Scott Steiner
Decent match with a not-so-hot finish. Both teams had their moments, with a lot of double-team spots from each side. The finish came when beer was accidentally spit into the face of referee Earl Hebner. While distracted, Booker T hit the scissors kick, which allowed Steiner to get the pinfall and the victory for each guy, who with the win, retain their spots in the Main Event Mafia.

Jeremy Borash Interviews Booker T & Scott Steiner
Borash catches up with Booker and Steiner on the way back up the ramp to the back. Booker T brags, saying he told us all they'd win the titles. He does some more bragging and walks off. Steiner says they told everyone they'd become the tag-team champions and they did it. He says they are the best of all time. Steiner warns Mick Foley that Kurt Angle is going to take him down.
Lauren Interviews Samoa Joe
Lauren asks if the mystery will end tonight about who his mentor is. Joe has the towel over his face like Taz again. Joe says rest assured, his mentor is here and he's ready for war. He says he's going to deliver his mentor Sting's head tonight.
Grudge Match:
-Samoa Joe vs. Sting
The two quickly battle to the crowd early into the match. The two are fighting tooth and nail throughout the audience. Back in the ring, Joe takes control of the match for the next several minutes. Sting starts to make his comeback, even applying the Scorpion Death Lock on Joe. Out of nowhere, some music hits and out comes Taz. "F-T-W" chants erupt from the crowd. Joe finds some newfound energy and is making his comeback on Joe as Taz stands at ringside. Sting off the top rope with a flying clothesline but only gets a two count. Joe tries the Muscle Buster but instead switches to the rear naked choke. Sting slowly goes out and eventually taps to end the match.
Winner: Samoa Joe
After The Match: Taz & Samoa Joe
After the match, Taz comes into the ring. Joe and Taz face-off and give each other "the pound" handshake. Joe poses to the crowd. The crowd is going insane with chants towards Taz.
-A video package airs showing the Bobby Lashley to TNA Wrestling confirmation announcement earlier this week on ESPN Radio. He talks about how he has his sights set on Brock Lesnar.
Backstage: Jeremy Borash Interviews Mick Foley
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Mick Foley for an interview. Foley, taping his hands up for his upcoming match, talked about how in his opponents he always found a way to find a weakness. He says there is no such case with Angle. He said he did once hit him with an elbow where Angle went flat for a full minute. Foley goes on to talk about Angle's neck problems. He says everyone who has faced the Main Event Mafia tonight has come up short, and most probably won't like his chances but here he goes.
TNA World Title:
-Kurt Angle (c) vs. Mick Foley
Foley with the early control of the match. Angle makes his comeback on the outside, slamming Foley into the ringside steps. Angle tries a moonsault but misses. Foley tries the Mandible Claw but Angle low-blows him to escape. Foley hits the ref with an elbow out of nowhere. Foley grabs a chair. He comes back in the ring and locks the Mandible Claw, Mr. Socko style on Angle. Angle fights out of the hold with punches to Foley's head. Angle hooks Foley in the ankle lock but Foley gets to the ropes to break the hold. Angle drags him off the ropes and back into the center of the ring, where this time Foley had no choice but to tap out. Angle wins and retains the title.
Winner and STILL TNA World champion: Kurt Angle
After The Match: Main Event Mafia and Taz
After the match, Angle celebrated with the title and out came the rest of the Main Event Mafia, Samoa Joe and Taz included. The group celebrates in the ring with their titles to end the show.
