Go you DEVVVVVVSSS x 3!! What a weekend, super sunday, mad monday was crazy. I cant believe im back at work! ouuchh, my head hurts, i think i may still be drunk. I wont launch in with the 'we told you so', the medals around the necks of 3/4's of the club is good enough for me. Also I was very impressed with the sportsman ship of the cabbages, particulary in the A grade, its nice to see that all the crap we give each other during the year can be swept under the rug until next season.

Congrats to all the teams who won premierships on the weekend. What a weekend for Lofty.
Must be some sore heads for sure. I heard that Scotty Sutherland accepted that Lofty were the better side all year. I think that it was good to hear that from a respected player and coach. Good for hills footy, when we can all sit back and watch quality football from two quality sides. Its a rivalry that we hopefully see blossoming as I can see these clubs being at the top for a while yet.

I probably can't see lofty being arrogant on this forum as they have the medals and don't need to give other people shit. I have heard that last year on Uraidla's and Mt Loty's footy trip in the Gold Coast a premiership captain by the name of Chevalier spoke to a few of the Lofty boys in a night club and said, they shouldn't let losers in this club. How quickly time can pass with a few of Lofty boys getting revenge.
How good is footy!

yeah well done to the devils...a class above uraidla in both A's and B's whilst the 17s fought hard all day.
judging from a few of the stories of saturday night at the club and monday night at the crafers therte will be some sore heads indeed, it seems some of the young senior colts were leading the way with the post game festivities at the crafe with some questionable antics...

yeh good on them too the way they played in the finals series they deserve it, premierships only come around every so often so they should make the most of it and it's good to hear that all grades form lofty (and im sure Mt Barker) have made the most of the celebrations!

Yes I did hear that some of the Mt Lofty senior colts were in fine form in the drinking department. In particular I heard that young star Shane Maslin handled himself quite well in that department.

Chook - spot on. The boys were very revved up about Chevalier's p#ssweak comments. Especially seeing as the Demons won the flag, had barely a dozen (stand to be corrected) on their footy trip & the Devils had heaps of lads, joined eventually by one of the Demon players!
I hope for his sake that they don't end up in the same place for their footy trip this year...that'd be a sh#tload of humble pie to swallow.

We tried to pry him off the ground in the GF with a promise of a glass of burbon.

I saw Ironbank advertise for all coaches I think, near the end of the season. I'd say they may be looking for someone to bring some experienced players as well.
Grainger is signed, as of a fair while ago I reckon.
I think Sutherland might be too.

JQ - Ironbank advertise every year for all coaches whether they have coaches signed or not, you never know who might apply :D The current signed coaches are usually aware of it so there are no surprises there.

Ando's kid plays at Onkas I think, so that could make sense. Has he definitely left GAZA?

if you were after a new coach that would bring some quality players greg anderson would be the one. if you can pull any players from gaza theyre normally pretty damn good-- scottie wood is good proof of that.. mind you last time onkas got an ex-crow it didnt exactly work out well. but i dont think ando and bondy are the same in the drinking stakes> JQ have you spoken to ando lately, you speak abit through work dont you?? i know you got a heads up about woody!

GTS - true that. I have heard that he's gone from Gaza, but lives closer to Thunderdome.
No word yet on talks with Onkas. Will do my best to let you guys know. It'd be good to have some fresh news this soon after the season!
