Think we may struggle out there. North have the talent to challenge the big 3 and are the dark horse this year. In saying that if we turn up to play as the 2nd half against Centrals showed then we are in with half a sniff!

It's do or die for Westies!

While it is a nice problem to have, who will be the unlucky player that makes way for Cupido this week? (By the way, couldnt see Cupido at the game, was he there?)

Will we see Pettigrew again this week after his performance against the Dees?

Huge game this one, Westies havent beaten North since goodness knows when, but that was the same with Centrals and we know what happened there, North like West are a bit up and down and inconsistent, I think that North may just have a few too many guns for Westies to handle up forward. Alleway is well overdue for a blinder and started hitting his straps late Sunday, Norths midfield runners, Allan, Archard, wright, Rsywyk, Sloane should give enough supply to the forwards. But on saying that if North are caught off guard or have one of their lets go missing 1/4's or days, westie will pounch and come away with the points. North win this and the 5 will just about be settled.

For me West have to play Cupido up forward

Although we havent seen a great deal of him this year, Shane Birss could be a potential match winner for the Bloods this week if he goes on with his form from last week!

I'm hoping West has learnt from their first game against North, despite being in the game until halfway through the last quarter.

James Allen cannot be given the freedom he was allowed before - Steve Morris to tag? West play their best football when they play a running type game, taking the opponent on with pace. I thought our pace saw us break lines (esp. Ezard and Caire - Anderson when fit) something that Centrals couldnt do.

Should be a beauty, another nail biter for us

James Allan also shouldn't be given the freedom, you can tag Allan but then who tags Archard (average 34 poss per game approx) Wright (approx 30 poss per game), Theile (approx 25 poss per game) and Rsywyk (Approx 32 touches per game), then match up on 5 forwards over 6 foot plus, 2 ruckman that are also now dropping forward to kick goals.

Howver on saying that, this has the feel about it to be a bottler of a game, Westies the huge improvers of the comp, obviously Andy Collins has them moving well as a unit. North will have to play at their best to come away with the points and i think they may just have a tad to much skill and will come away with a win in what will be closer than alot think

We have always struggled against North especially at Prospect.

IMO our only chance is a wet game and to guts out a win with our superior desperation.

Unless North have a brain fade.......

West has done one thing that North has not been able to do this year and that is they beat Centrals.Centrals and North are similar in height and the way they play.West can match North and their on ball players- Ezard,Davies,Birss,Bailey,Hassan and Caruso can create havoc. This will be a close game no more than 2 to3 goals in it.North are a well drilled team with quality players;West has a self belief that they can match it with the best.

If you get there nice and early Thiele, which I assume you will be with your role at Westies, you should have no problem finding a off street park down one of the side streets behind Prospect Oval. There would be some, if you are there early like I say, no more than a 400 - 500 metre walk from the oval itself.
