Johnson bowled 22 overs and Hilf just 15. Had that been the other way around it may well have been a different result.

True but Ponting was trying to get more deliveries/opportunities in with North. I can undesrtand the rationale but North wasn't going to take a wicket.

I would've prefered 6 balls from Hilfenhaus than 12 from North.

Can this series match 2005?

Won't get close. That English bowling attack couldn't knock us over ONCE. We had them 19 wickets down, right to the wire on a flat as **** pitch. We will win this series easily.

WHo will play in the next match??

also, i woulda liked to see clarke not north at the en. proven with a match winning effort. spinning it into 2 leftys, giving short leg a chance. and he was guaranteed to make them play!

Man of the match: Collingwood. he had the biggest impact

His poor captaincy should exclude him from getting it no matter how well he batted.

he was BY FAR the better captain throughout this test match.
Two errors in my view.

Overbowled johnson (underbowled Hilf)

Bowling North at the end.

Strauss captain carp though

Personally cant hear it!

Johnson has bowled carp in both matches so far. He had bowled real puss so far.

I think the side could go and should go in unchanged
