All depends on who Torrens meet in the Elimination. I might be jumping the gun, but the top three is looking secure to me.

Assuming no one is playing Sturt in the Elimination Final, which is like getting a free pass these days to the semis since we're so crap at them, Torrens could be out in week one. North would be tough, West, well you wouldn't want to underestimate them.

Please call the team the correct name I understand you won and the have the right to go nahanahaa but please we are woodville west torrens

Disappointing first half, an improved effort in the second half but Sturt were still far too good. We will need a for more determined effort in the upcoming weeks if we want to challenge for the top 3 - maybe that dream is gone already.

Eagles lack a quality key defender. Adam Grocke played a lot of junior football as a key defender - perhaps this could be tried if it hasn't already.

Fantastic game by the boys yesterday.
Was very impressed with Plant playing up forward. Haven't seen him in this role before but he played it very well. Put his head over the ball and took some nice clean grabs.
Also, Vassal played very well. Faded a bit after halftime, was a very strong unit in the first half though. Ran through everyone to get the hard ball.
Btw, did anyone else see the behind the play incident between Jarrad and Jaensch? Jaenschy was flat on his stomach and Jarrad thought he'd drop a nice elbow to the back the head.
Looking forward to going to Arctic Park  next week to play the Panthers. Was cold enough at Unley yesterday.

No not correct there were a few of us brave souls sitting amongst your lot in the grandstand .I was there were you !!!!
As I stated before your loud mouth and over weight fans (like myself) were clapping away urging your seconds side on to a 16 goal loss .

I was there before the first bounce of the seconds and left when the siren went to end the game .
So get your fan facts correct !!!

I'm not calling them Torrens because we won... I've been calling them Torrens since 1991.

I just philosophically disagree with what happened in that merger, Woodville has no recognition whatsoever in my eyes.

So its not some club-oriented attack... once the Advertiser starts writing them up as Woodville-West Torrens in the premiership table, then I'll start calling them that. But everyone calls them the Eagles a la West Torrens.

If Woodville has no recongnition, then why do we play at Woodville Oval and have green and gold in the jumper then. But then you must be blind.

You see jimmy it would mean something when the merger happened .But we are one team have been one team(all the current playing group werent league players at merger time) for to long for stupid comments like above to really be a problem .

One team which has won two flags .
And WWT had their first 3rd generation player (I think)playing in the seconds yesterday with more second generations in the juniors .Be warned we will not die just because we had a hiccup yesterday .

Yes Mickeyj I was there, due to running around with kids in the morning I got to to Unley Oval at 3/4 time of the thrashing you blokes gave our twos. Congratulations for that...perhaps those blokes of yours should have played ones.
Yes you are also correct that there were "a few of you brave souls" at the game.
Got me buggered why you don't have many supporters...but then again, after a performance like yesterday...

Well it has me buggered we have beaten Centrals Port twice south twice north once .Lost to you guys twice Norwood and drawn once and lost once to West.
IMHO our game plan doesn't work against running afl style of game.
Or my lad thinks this year we win one lose one for some reason.
The seconds on the other hand when they win they play a very good brand of footy .

Why our fans don't come mate u need to look at what happened to your fans when u fell from grace.Very certain a game in 06 at unley eagles had more fans than Sturt did .Pretty certain when every club has a downer the fans drop off.
Unless like me and a few faithful others we just keep coming back week after week.

That's fair enough but your team has been remarkably consistent for a decade or more now and offered the supporters a flag and numerous GF's and finals appearances, I think that's what Rucc is getting at.
